The Finest Gem

Ch 1: Hey there pretty baby

It was around 3 a.m. in New York City yet there are still adults hanging out in bars,restaurants cafes and etc. There were also cars on the road causing steady traffic. No wonder people label New York as the city that never sleeps. Somewhere in one of the many tall skyscrapers in New York, a petite boy who was standing on the highest floor of the building gazed out one of the windows that overlooked the city. He has always wondered why the people of New York would still stay up even after a long day of work or school.

He had also wondered where both his boyfriends were, at the moment. They would always disappear after putting him to sleep at 9.00 p.m. sharp. If you may ask, this petite boy's name is Park Haneul. He was nicknamed Gem by his boyfriends due to his mesmerizing eyes that resembled sapphires. 'You are our finest Gem' his boyfriends would say on one of their cozy days cuddling in their bed, watching Netflix and acting all lovey dovey cause they're fortunately and unfortunately one of those disgustingly loving couples who can't keep their hands off each other. Well, his boyfriends can't keep their hands off of him which can be annoying sometimes but deep down he relishes in their attention.

Okay, back to the self intro, Gem is a 17 year old korean boy living in New York with both his lovers, James Clark and John Clark. James and John were actually his adoptive brothers but soon enough they officially became his lovers. Both of them are buff and scary, but they act all lovey dovey and soft with Gem of course. Gem is actually home schooled and he was always pampered like a baby ever since he was adopted. 14 years ago, Gem was dropped off at an orphanage in Chicago. When he was 5 years old, he accepted his fate of being an orphan forever. His whole life started to change when his 6th birthday came around.

A rich family from New York came down to 'Kore orphanage' in hopes of adopting another child. The clarks were a very strict bunch but they were actually very kind natured when you get to know all of them. Mostly the men in the clark family were strict and very dominant accept for the women. So when they came to the orphanage, many orphans scurried away and were afraid to make eye contact with them as the aura emitting from the clarks was very tense. But Sarah Clark, Michael Clark's wife had more of a welcoming aura. The Clark family consists of four people which is Michael Clark father to his two sons James and John Clark, and husband to his wife Sarah Ophelia Clark. James was a 15 year old who looked like he was gonna punch the first person that approached him while John, his younger brother who was 14 years old, looked like he hated everyone and everything. Deep inside, they were very excited to adopt a new baby brother or sister but they wanted too look professional so they didn't show their excitement.

Meanwhile the Clarks were looking around the orphanage, Park Haneul was the odd one out as he was outside in the orphanage's backyard sitting on the swing and looking up at the blue sky. He closed his eyes and  made a wish. He whispered "I wish that I can leave this place, explore the outside world and maybe even meet someone who really cares about me. It was not like the orphanage posed as a problem to him as all the orphans adored him and the staff working there loved him to death as he was such a cute petite boy but he wanted to feel free. He was actually very jealous when he saw some kids getting adopted by couples who wanted to start a new family. He always felt like no one ever wanted him as he lived at the orphanage for a pretty long time. He was a very beautiful boy as he possessed skin as white as snow since he was a korean child. He was also blessed with beautiful eyes that sparkled like sapphires under a bright light when he gets super excited or happy. While Haneul was distracted with the scenery of the clear blue sky above him, he didn't realized the young two tall boys behind him.

-Half an hour ago..-

"James how about you and John play at the backyard while your mother and I look around this place for a little while" said Michael to his sons before approaching his wife who was talking to one of the orphanage's staff. "Well let's go brat" James spoke up to his younger brother which earned a hard slap to his arm. "Ow! Jeez, I just called you brat. Don't need to be so upset" James said as he looked at his younger brother's back while pouting. "Well you asked for it Dimwit. The only person who gets to call me Brat is Mom or Dad got it! Plus, you're suppose to be the big brother here and not try to make me want to beat your face in all the time" John said clearly annoyed by his big brother. As they both slowly made they're way towards the backyard, James who was known not to back down from a verbal fight with his younger brother had said, "Well I'm your big brother and I love calling you brat cause it's fun- Oof!" .
