Kiers POV
Amy's eyes stared at me, it felt like she was looking directly at my soul. Her eyes were penetrating my every resolve, they seemed to be stripping back the protective layers I had spent years surrounding myself in.
As she got closer and closer to me, she was dropping her guard, the pain in her eyes becoming more and more evident. I could feel her breath caress my cheek as she leaned ever closer. She kept holding my eyes, pleading with me to relieve her from her pain: my eyes asking the same impossible task. There were mere millimetres between us, my arms still cradling her, I tentatively leant forward to close the gap between us. Our lips crashed together in a frenzy of pain and need. My arms snaked around her waist pulling her closer, as if by having her close I could protect the two of us from the pain the world thrust upon us.
Her arms made their way around my neck, clinging to me, showing me her need for human contact. My tongue gently requested access by running along her bottom lip, I tasted the metalic tang of her healing split lip. She obliged with a slight gasp and granted me access, tentatively caressing my tongue with hers.
Just as I adjusted to having her in my hold, and really relaxed into the kiss, Amy went as rigid as a stone, turning completely unresponsive
I noticed immediately, going agaist my every need, but following my instincts and stopping the kiss to make eye contact with her.
"Amy?"
Her bright blue eyes were wide and trained on me, they were filling with tears but they werent going to be shed. "That was my first kiss, Kier."
I felt immediate regret, I kissed her, surely she would have wanted it to be with someone more special to her, someone she deserves. Instead, she got me, a useless reject.
"Hey, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have kissed you, I'm so sorry."
"Kier, I'm glad it was you, thank you."
I looked up, stunned, to see the honesty shining through the pain in her eyes, there was a slight smile on her face, telling of her true emotions."You're very welcome. Are you sure you're okay?"
"Yes. I think I honestly am."
"Okay, well, you're welcome to stay here, or I can walk you home..?" Her eyes hardened as I mentioned home, her bruises seemed to darken and she seemed to look frail.
"I am fine, I'll walk myself h-home." Her eyes were staring hard at me, daring me to question her.
"Actually, I think you are staying here tonight." I watched for a reaction, because I wouldn't hold her hostage, but I dont really want to let her go either.
Instead of questioning me, her shoulders sagged, and her eyes brightened, "I don't want to intrude, won't your parents mind?"
My eyes narrowed just a fraction, "Just my mum, and no, she is at my aunts this evening, won't be back until Monday at the earliest."
