•part two•

i quickly packed my things and walked out the door. then i felt someone lightly grab my arm.
i quickly turn around to confront the person but once i saw who it was, i softened.
myungjun.
'uh, mianhae, i just wanted to tell you that you're really good. you should try out for nationals!'
'ah, thanks.... but no thanks. you're myungjun right?' i asked, already knowing the answer.
'yes! are you are?'
'um, lee sooni.' i said, embarrassed. i never really liked my name.
'sooni! that's beautiful.'
i blushed.
i was panicking and i could tell my face was getting red. i didn't know what to do.
'i'm sorry, i have to get to class' i said and ran away.
i looked back, noticing the pained look on his face.
my next class was super fun, it was science. we were talking about stars in outer space and which was our favorite. there was one bright star that always caught my attention. it was very tiny, but stood out the most to me. it was called 'astro'.
astro seemed like a shy star. it was so small. when you look up into the night sky. its as small as a freckle. but it shines the brightest in my vision.
that star became a symbol to me. it came with me everywhere i went. there were signs of it everywhere. in my notebook, on my hairtie, drawn on my arm.
only because it reminded me of myungjun.
he was all i could think about.
