Okay. So first day of high school. What should I wear? I need to make a good first impression. I don't want to get bullied again. Ugh. Maybe I should wear this? No. How about this? No! Agh!!! I have nothing to wear-
"Kat!"
I turned to my bedroom door from where the voice came from. I opened the door to see my younger sister, Emma. She's 10 years old.
"What?!" I asked her
"Pick out something to wear dingus. I'm gonna be late for school!" Emma replied.
"Fine." I slammed the door in her face. I quickly picked a nice outfit.

I quickly grabbed my school bag and went out of my room. I ran downstairs to see my mom making coffee and Emma eating her cereal on the table. Emma looked up at me and said, "Finally."
My mom saw me and said, "Katherine! It's your first day of high school!" She came up to me for a hug and said, "Aw, I'm so proud of you!" "Thanks mom," I replied. "Look, I really need to get going now-"
"Eat your cereal first!" My mom stated.
I sat down and began eating my food. I looked over at Emma and asked, "So, Emma. Excited for your first day in 5th Grade?"
"No." She replied.
"Why?"
"I don't like the people in my class. So stupid."
"Hey, don't say that. What could be so wrong about-"
"They have musical.ly. They watch Lake Jaul. They "dab on the haters." They wear unnecessary make up to school. They-"
"Well. I think it's time for me to go to school now." I said. I went over to my mom and kissed her cheek and went outside and walked to the bus stop.
While walking to the bus stop, I grabbed my phone and my ear pieces from my pocket and start listening to songs. I finally made it to the bus stop and I see some people sitting there already. They all looked at me with a look that clearly said, "Who the hell is that?" I ignored them and sat down and went on my phone for a while until the bus came.
When the bus came, the people went on the bus before me. I then went on the bus and the bus was quite packed. I managed to find an empty seat. I sat by myself cause I wanted to listen to my music in peace. I sat by the window, staring of what this new high school year will be like. As I look upon the window, I was interrupted.
"Hi!"
I jumped a little bit but not to much that it would be noticeable. I look behind me and saw a blonde girl with bangs and space buns. I also noticed that she had pink eyebrows... which was kind of odd.
"H-hi." I stuttered.
"Are you new? Or are you on the wrong bus?" She asked me.
I heard another girls voice. "Shut up, Charlie. Stop asking so many questions." She stood up next to her. She wore a cap and had messy, long brunette hair. She looked over at me and said, "Hi. I'm Tessa and this is Charlie," She pointed to Charlie, "Sorry if she's annoying you."
