Hello my name is Julie Clausen. I am a 23 year old (almost) college grad. I live in New York City, most people love it here, but me, not so much!  I hate the people, I hate the jobs, I hate the weather, bottom line, like i said I just simply hate it here!  I went to school to become a nurse, and in my sophomore year, decided that college was just not for me. So now, here I am living in a 2 bedroom apartment, with a roommate who I barely even know. We stay on the 10th floor, the apartment building overall is a little shabby, but not too bad.  Only thing I hate is that its rumored that the couple who lived in our apartment before us was crazy. The husband shot his wife and then killed himself, and to make matters worse it happened in my bedroom... spooky huh?

Anyways, lets get on with the reason I'm letting you people in on my life. So, two months ago, I found a little part time gig downtown as a waitress serving people in an upscale restaurant. This place is amaaazing! All white linen, crystal wine glasses, the finest of china, the chandaleres alone had to cost close to a million. This restaurant, was known for bringing in the big bucks and guests ranging anywhere from Will and Jada Smith to the Kardashians.  Needless to say, I was bringing home some fairly good tips.  So one night I had an older couple come in, maybe early to mid 50's. The wife told me that she was celebrating for a new job promotion, they seemed like really nice people.  So on my dime, I ordered dessert for the two of them, and on her cheesecake written in strawberry syrup, I had the chef write CONGRATS. She was very surprised and thankful.  In return, she gave me a very nice tip, her business card, and said if I was interested in making extra money, to give her a call. I didn't think much of it, stuffed the card into my back pocket and continued on with the rest of my night. I punched out at 11:30 pm and made my way to the bus stop. The night air was crisp but not freezing just right (perfect?)for a long sleeve sweater. I boarded and sat in the back of the bus by the door. I hated the smell of city buses for some odd reason it reeked of urine and vomit just simply dirty to say the least. I tried to drown out the noise and smell by putting on my headphones and reading a book, this was my everyday routine. But Little did I know this oh so sweet little life of mine was about to change dramatically.
