A girl sat beside the road. Just behind her was a dog that was watching the passing cars, moterbikes and trucks. Maybe if dogs wondered about the future, it would've been thinking what the girl would do next. The girl turned to the dog for comfort as she dreaded what she knew was inevitable. She tried to delay it for as long as possible but at some point, the girl knew that she had to return home. Walking home was a struggle as the kilos of groceries and the people yelling at her were hard to ignore. The girl soon reached an old alleyway and slowly began to walk down it with her dog dancing around beside her. As she walked deeper into the ally unintelligible voices were heard echoing out of the only lit up house on the street. Her hands hovered over the door knob, refusing to let herself walk into that hostile environment. After minutes of staring at the door she finally decided to greet her parents.
