Emily's pov

We land safely and on our way home we stop at my dad's grave, today is his birthday, it's a really hard day for all of us but having Alison by my side makes it more bearable

"Happy Birthday my love" My mom whispers, falling to her knees and crying

I wipe away my tears and walk closer to my mom, trying to contain myself so I can comfort her but Alison beats me to it and sits down in the wet dirt next to my mom. Alison slowly wraps her arms around my mom and allows my mom's head and knees to fall onto her, my mom sits in the mud in front of my dad's grave embraced in Alison's comforting arms. I stand behind my mom resting my hand on her shoulder whilst Lily and Grace place Flower the skunk on his headstone. I sit down on the other side of my mom from Ali and rest my head against her, wrapping my arm around her to meet Ali's hand behind her back. Alison interlocks our hands trying to comfort me as well as my mom. Lily and Grace stand staring at the teddy they gave my dad before they both burst into tears, they shuffle through the rain and dirt towards us. Lily sits in my legs which I have crossed into a basket and Grace sits on Alison's knees burying her head between my mom's and Alison's.

Alison's pov

We all sit in the mud crying and hugging each other, we sit in silence for a while just listening to the rain falling over us. The beat of the rain is over powered by Pam's shaking voice, she tells us stories of her time with Wayne occasionally laughing through her tears at the silly times they shared

"He always pretended to be a tough man, who was strong and wasn't afraid of anything but the day you were born he fainted and instead of looking after me and you, the midwives had to get a doctor to make sure your dad was okay. He was such a kind and caring man and he didn't love anyone more than his baby girl Emmy" she sniffles

"Come on. Let's go" she says, wriggling out of mine and Emily's arms

The outside of the car shines with rain and the inside drips with dirt from our pants. Once we are home we peel our wet and dirty clothes off and throw them in the washing machine, we all get a quick shower before we go to Hanna's house for a 'family' party

Emily's pov

"Did you enjoy your city?"

"Our city?" I ask as I rock Conrad in my arms

"Yes" Hanna sighs "The Emison city"

"It's was great" I reply

"What was the highlight of your trip?" Toby asks, sipping on his beer

"Our Anniversary" Alison devilishly smiles at me

"Mine too, Ali"

"Oh I wonder why" Aria giggles

"Aria, there are kids around" Alison jokes

"They are in the other room, it's only Conrad here and he can't even hold up his head. So what did you do on your anniversary?" Aria asks

"Alison was very romantic. We went on a horse and carriage, had dinner in the Eiffel Tower and then went to a five star hotel"

"Five star ? That's a waste of money when you aren't even sleeping" Hanna laughs

"Shut up" Alison blushes

"When we were in Disneyland we bought the kids a present"

"Did you get me a present?" Caleb laughs
