In the year X815, Nagata Yuri Dreyar, a handsome, young, seventeen year old heir to Fairy Tail accepted his first century quest. Miraculously, it took him seven months to arrive, complete and return home. When he did, he came home looking as if he'd fought one millionth of what he was expecting. February, Nagata was called up his father's office. His mother and grandfather were there too. They told him of the job specifically requesting him and the rank they gave the job, "if they are telling the truth" his grandfather, Makarov, had said. He listened carefully, taking in everything they had said. Their voices screamed "don't do it!" but he felt like he would end up doing it anyway. They handed him the job request sheet. It stated:

"URGENT HELP NEEDED
POWERFUL SLAYER MAGE
NAGATA DREYAR

Dear Fairy Tail,
We urgently need help from the famous Devil Dragon, Nagata Yuri Dreyar. A demonic dragon has awoken, and is causing havok, panic and destruction without even revealing it's true self! It's roars are devasting, and it's magic is even more unimaginably catastrophic. We're desperate. It has been happening for roughly six weeks by the time you get this. We live in a secluded and mostly unknown part of the world, that will take you some time to get here, but we promise to make it worth the journey.

REWARD:
A LIFETIME OF OUR SERVICES
90% SHARE OF WHATEVER RICHES WE FIND IN THE MOUNTAIN

If this is not enough, we can promise more. Please. We beg of you. This beast is slowly destroying us, tearing apart our houses, our families and our happiness. We know of no other way to persuade you. You are the Devil Dragon, aren't you?"

This request was enough for him. He left alone, despite the risk of the entire job being a trap for him. If a real Devil Dragon existed, Nagata had to see it. That's all he thought of, day and night for two weeks walking and four weeks on a ship. Not only was the reward going to make him rich, completing the job would boost his name to the top of every list. Little did he know how naive he was at the time. A living, breathing, demon-dragon hybrid. If such a thing existed, could it be slain?

A couple of weeks after leaving his final inn, Nagata had made it to the village at the foot of the mountain. They were the ones that sent out the request and they seemed desperate and relieved to see someone had come. They fed him and made sure he was well rested. He felt like a king!

At the foot of the mountain is where he and some of the villages most powerful mages camped for the night before going up the mountain. Nagata was now 90% certain the job was not a hoax. The people were too nice and generous to be tricking him, and the feeling at the foot of the moutain was a terrifying evil. An evil that no demon or hell being could replicate. Not only did he sense it, but the entire moutain reeked of it. The smell of a dragon, and a demon.

Morning came and Nagata, along with five mages from the village, gathered their courage and magic power and began their journey to the heart of the mountain. Their journey would last five days and that wasn't even the worst of their problems, he place they hoped to reach was boiling hot! Mount Draconem Diabolum was actually a volcano and one of the biggest in the world. Sealed by the Wizard Saints, the lava of the volcano sits patiently inside, unallowing any snow or cold temperatures near it. Once the monstrous threat was taken out, the place where this demonic horned dragon supposedly stayed could potentially be turned into a paradise for mages and non mages all over the kingdom to come and stay. Summer all year round and absolutely no threat of the volcano erupting. All that paradise awaits and all that had to he done was slay a deadly demon dragon that survived longer than the Black Dragon Of The Apocalypsehimself and evaded the Wizard Saints' detection. Not too hard... right?
