"No, no no! You just can't do that, that's not a proper way to kill Rory and Amy! I mean come on, give them some dignity they just saved the Doctor's life." I argued with my producer.

"I'm sorry Matt, but its time for Arthur and Karen to leave. They made their decisions and have plenty lined up for them. We already have a new companion and we need to start filming." He sighed, annoyed by my ignorance.

"Matt just let it go, I know you've grown attached to this show, hell its your family-" He started before I cut him off.

"Fine you win this one, Stephen." I huffed walking away.

I admit, I can be childish most of the time, well really all of the time. What would be the fun in life if you can't act like a 5 year old sometimes?

"Don't forget who pays you." He chuckled, watching me walk away.

"Nice one, Stephen." I called.

"Wait Matt, where are you going? We need to start scripts now."

At that, I stopped in my tracks, holding onto the wall for support. "Wait! You already got them a replacement?!"

Way to tell me things ahead of schedule Stephen, way to think ahead. How do they manage to get all this set up, right under my nose? I check their search history almost every night, never was there a search for actresses. They're getting smarter, must've used they're iPhones for this one.

And wouldn't they have the guts to tell me first? Talk about unreasonable.

Fuming now I walked over to the conference room, where I'd have no choice but to participate in the rehearsal.

Staring down at the paper before me, I read over my lines as I took in every word. Knowing me, I can be very sentimental, I may just have this laminated and hung on my wall as this will be the last time the Doctor's with Rory and Amy.

Truly, I will miss Arthur and Karen. Just like everyone else they're my family, we grew up as names no one had ever heard of, but just look at us now. Some of the biggest names on screen!

"Come on Matt, it's not that bad, Arthur and I aren't going to disappear completely in the next month." Karen laughed, looking at Arthur.

"Trust me, I won't miss you that much Arthur. But Karen what am I going to do around here without you're beautiful face, screaming for help every second of the day?!" I winked, laughing along with them.

"Are you trying to steal MY wife, Smith?" Arthur feigned anger.

"Maybe I am, but maybe I'm not." I punched Arthurs arm lightly.

As Arthur and I were on the floor, clutching our stomachs from laughter, Karen looked down at us with an amused smirk playing on her lips.

I'm sure going to miss them, I hope they're replacement is 'fun'. Oh, how I absolutely hate the word replacement, like seriously it's a terrible word.

. 3 heartbreaking hours later .

"I'll be fine. I'll be with him."

"Come back to the TARDIS Pond, please."

"Goodbye Raggedy Man."

"No!" I screamed, emotion trembling through my voice.

Stepping off set, my cheeks were wet from crying. I'll never admit it to anyone because if they ask i'll just say it was for the part but honestly I'm going to miss this. But more importantly I'll miss them.

.

After changing out of our costumes and stage makeup, everyone went out to the main area. As I started talking with some of the production crew, they looked at me guilty before I realized they weren't paying attention. Instead they were staring above my head over at Stephen, who had walked into the center of the room.

"And now everyone I have a special announcement. I know that most of you have already met her but for those of you who haven't, meet the newest companion to the Doctor!" Stephen motioned to the walkway above our heads as a girl descended the steps. "May I introduce Kate James!"

As she walked down the last stair, I was taken back. Stunning in every way, but yet someone I don't see as the Doctors companion. He always goes for the quirky ones, but maybe she's a total geek at heart, hell why would I know anything about her?

Not that I just Googled her name or anything.

I guess I'm just quick to judge as I would've made the same assumption about Karen if she wasn't my first 'companion'.

"Matt, Katy. Katy, Matt. Katy, Arthur, Karen. Arthur, Karen, Katy." Stephen introduced us all in one go.

"Hi, I'm Matt." I tried to smile at her but it was still forced, I just can't accept the fact that she's replacing them.

"I know. I'm Katy." She smiled, sticking out her hand for me to shake it.

"Well, now that that's all sorted, I'll see you all tomorrow! And please Matt, don't wear that hideous jumper." Stephen patted me in the back, walking out into the grey rain.

Everyone else slowly headed off, walking out to grab umbrellas and rain slickers. As I walked out into the rain, my hair turned into a wet mop of straightened curls.

(I could totally be a hairdresser, just look at how many terms I know. Watch out London, Smith's going to take over again.)

Slamming the door to my Range Rover, I was distracted by the thought that I would have to come here again tomorrow and this time with Katy as it was Stephens idea of 'bonding' that we both ride together in the mornings.

As I've said before, Stephens not that great at thinking things through, especially things that could turn pretty awkward.

This is certainly going to be harder than I thought.

1) I'm back and I'm sure you all missed me, no I'm kidding I love all the supportive Doctor Who fans on here, you guys are just amazing and we should totally have a party sometime.

2) *This is a MATT SMITH fan fiction, not a Doctor Who one. Sure there will be chapters about the filming of the show but it's about Matt's personal life.

3) No hate please, if you do have a fun time getting killed by the Winchesters but I hope everyone will enjoy this. It's going to be a short novella and if I like it more than that, we'll see what's in store!
