Harry Styles

Breathing out a relaxed sigh, I tightened my arm that was hung around Sam's shoulders making her lean into me more, both feeling more comfortable around each other now. "This is nice." She hummed. We were comfortably full up from our picnic, sitting at the back of my car admiring the calming view of the sea. The sky was black now only enhancing the brightness of the stars and the moon that lit up the sky. "So how was this for your first ever date?" I asked Sam, a teasing grin across my face as she looked up at me. "Couldn't think of any other way to spend my first date. Ever." She laughed and snuggled into me more. It warmed my heart that I took her on her first date and I pat myself on the back for thinking of this idea last minute. "If you liked it that much, would you want to go on a second date with me?" I held my breath as I waited for her to answer. Sam removed herself from me to look me in the eye as she gave me a toothy grin and nodded her head yes. I couldn't contain my happiness as I pulled her into a hug and we stayed in that position until we both decided it was time to end our date.

The ride back to Sam's apartment was peaceful. Nothing was said between us as we listened to the music that was quietly playing through my speakers. "Thank you so much for tonight. It really was lovely." Sam thanked me as I walked her to her door. Her back was pressed against the door as she looked up at me to ask if I wanted to stay for some drinks which I politely declined. Guilt filled me as I watched her cheeks redden at the rejection and I was quick to explain myself. "Got an early start tomorrow morning as the boys and I have a photoshoot." She nodded her head in understanding and wished me a goodnight followed by a tight hug. I watched as she unlocked the door and let herself in, saying bye one more time before shutting it closed.

As I left the building I rolled my eyes in annoyance when I saw four paparazzi standing near my car already snapping pictures of me. "Hey Harry how are you this evening?" One of them asked. The closer I got to my car the faster they snapped the pictures, the bright flashes making me feel disoriented. "I'm good thank you." I replied, not taking my eyes off my car as I approached it. They continued asking me questions and taking photos while I unlocked my car and climbed inside. "Have a nice night." I gave them a brief nod before putting my car into drive and taking off down the road. How did they find out I was there? I hope they didn't catch me out with Sam, the last thing I need is our date being all over the news. I cursed at myself for not being careful enough and prayed to God that Sam doesn't get dragged up in all this as this one date could potentially knock her confidence with whatever hate the fans throw at her.

As soon as I got home I checked my phone to see if they pictures had been put up anywhere and if anyone saw me out with Sam. I sighed in relief when I only saw posts about me getting into my car tonight. The last thing I want is to scare Sam away with this lifestyle. Yes I understand that shes part of this lifestyle as well but hers doesn't seem as brutal as mine. I get the nosey fans and paparazzi that always want to know what you're up to and who you're seeing but Sam's life doesn't seem as wild. I hate the fact that I have to constantly hide if I want to do something with friends or even a girl i'm dating because I just have to be spotted hanging out with someone and they're automatically linked with me.

I lay in bed for a few more hours answering text messages and emails. I send a quick goodnight text to Sam and when she doesn't reply straight away like she always does, I assume she's already asleep.

The next day is an early start. Awake at 6 and out the door, in the car and on the way to the studio by half 6. I arrive at the studio before the other boys so i'm automatically lead into hair and makeup and met by Lou. "Hiya hun how did your date go last night?" Was the first thing she said to me. Sighing out a tired groan, I slumped myself into the chair in front of the mirror. "It went really well. Better than expected actually but had a run in with some paps though." Lou stopped fixing my hair and stared at me through the mirror with furrowed brows. "Are you serious? I didn't see anything written online though." Her movements slowly started up again as she began cutting sections of hair. I told her that they caught me walking out of Sam's building towards my car. "I'm just glad that they didn't see us on our date otherwise it could ruin everything." Lou agrees that last night was a close call and warns me to be extra careful on our next date. "I reckon a nice night in for date number two. Its cute, sweet and definitely paparazzi friendly."
