2. Trouble in baby town

Dally and I have started trying for another baby, but we decided to keep it to ourselves until we find out if there will be a baby. I am still surprised that Dally wanted this baby, even though he loves Sophia and Ashton so much, I never expected him to say he wanted more.

"Hey Han" Pony said walking in the house.

"Hey Pony, what's up?" I asked putting away the kids toys.

"Um, can I talk to you for a minute?" He asked nervously.

I looked up at him and he was pale. I dropped the couple toys I had in my hand.

"Yes, sit down. What's the matter?" I asked sitting beside him on the couch.

"Is Dal here?" He asked.

"No, he's gone to Bucks. What's up? Are you okay?"

"Well no not really" He sighed.

"Are you in some kind of trouble?" I asked.

"Well. If it means that Darry will definitely kick me out, then yeah it's trouble"

"Pony, what did you do?"

"Um. Kaitlyn thinks she's pregnant" He mumbled.

I was speechless, I felt Pony's pain, but Darry is really going to kill him. I'm sure it was only an accident but Darry is very protective, and a little hard on Pony.

"Well, don't mention anything to Darry until she finds out for sure." I managed to say.

"She asked me to ask you if she could come over and talk about it. She's really scared and doesn't know what to do" Pony said.

"Okay, that's no problem. Tell her she can come over any time." I nodded.

Poor Pony, I cant believe this can possibly be happening to him, he's only eighteen. The same age I was when I got pregnant.

"I got to go home for supper, I'll tell Kaitlyn, she might be over later." Pony said standing up.

"Okay" I nodded.

Not even an hour went by before Kaitlyn got here, thankfully Dally had left again after he ate supper because if he heard this conversation we are about to have, he'd probably flip himself.

Kaitlyn sat on the couch fiddling with her fingers, she was obviously a nervous wreck.

"Kait, calm down. Let's just talk about this. You don't even know for sure yet." I said trying to keep her calm. She nodded quickly and looked at me.

"Before you take a test, why do you think you're pregnant?" I asked.

"Well, I haven't had my period for two months now. I mean Han, I have to be pregnant, I just thought maybe there was something wrong when I missed it the first time, but now for the second time, I must be." She said quickly. "Now Pony must hate me, Darry is going to kill him, and I won't be able to see him again. My life is ruined."

"Okay, Kait, you're life isn't ruined, I thought the same exact things when I found out I was pregnant, but my life turned out great. You just have to take it one day at a time, I know it's very overwhelming, but if you don't calm down, it only makes it worse. Now I'm going to give you a test and you're going to take it okay?" I said grabbing her flying arms and resting them down on her laps.
