"Ow! Fucking hell, mom! Let go of my ear!" I yelled at my mother who was yanking at my sensitive ear. She was pulling me to our dinning room with a happy expression plastered on her face.
"Eren, first of all, please stop cursing, at least not in front of me, dear. And second of all, stop pulling back! I have something I want to show you, and that means you had to get out of bed," she exclaimed with excitement. When we got to the dinning room, she finally let go of my ear, allowing me to see my father and half-awake sister, Mikasa, sitting at the table. Both my parents looked extremely happy and excited while my sister and I looked disturbed and angered with our furrowed eyebrows and bed-heads. I sat down in the seat next to my sister and yawned.
"So, what was so important that it couldn't wait 'til we woke up?" Mikasa asked while she stretched out her arms.
"Well, Grisha and I have found this amazing website that advertises summer campsites and there is one campsite called Camp Maria. Its an amazing and beautiful camp that has lots of activities there," my mother explained as she pulled up a website on her tablet.
"And, Carla and I think you two might like it and possibly go for your summer vacation," my father finished as my mom flipped the tablet around to show us the camp. "Its not for the whole summer vacation though. We just want you two to... spice things up a bit."
My personal opinion on going to a camp was not in my peaks of interest. I mean, I love going outside, but not that much. Mikasa, on the other hand, seemed very interested in the idea as she skimmed through the description. I looked through it a little too once I saw Mikasa was done, and I immediately disliked the first thing I saw.
"This is a disciplinary camp," I said as I furrowed my eyebrows and highlighted the words that said so in the description. My parents fell silent as they sat there staring at my sister's and my displeased expression.
"Well, ya. Its to boost your confidence in yourself and give you a better mindset. We believed it would help your self-esteem," my father clearly lied as he gulped down the words of truth.
"That's not what disciplinary camps are for, dad," Mikasa said grimly. My parents seemed oddly uncomfortable and frightened by our reaction and became less happy and excited than they were before.
"Alright. We want to send you there because you two have been acting out of character lately," my mother sighed. "First, you come home with different friends. Then, you start posting these very inappropriate pictures and posts on your social media's. And after that, your interests changed and your respects fall short and out of place, and you started doing things we couldn't even believe you would do... it just doesn't seem like you are the same children we raised. We just want to make sure there is nothing going on with your lives that is hurting you and/or playing this effect."
"So, instead of talking to us about it, you're going to send us to a disciplinary camp?!" I questioned in a very unamused tone.
"Eren, you know we're busy with our stuff too. Besides, its not like other disciplinary camp, this one allows the campers to do as they please as a "therapeutic awakening". It focuses on therapy like treatment instead of a disciplinary treatment like boot-camps. They had to label it as a disciplinary camp because of the reason they do these practices. Plus, some of your friends are going too!" my dad explained to win us over, but earned a elbow in the stomach from my mother for the last part.
"How do you know that?" Mikasa asked. My parents looked at each other and made a conversation between the both of them with just different facial expressions. Eventually, I could tell my father won when my mom gave a pout in loss and disappointment.
"We talked with all of their parents at that friend gathering you two had about two maybe three weeks ago, and we all discussed the idea and they agreed that it was time we did something about all of your behaviors and attitudes," My dad explained. I rolled my eyes and Mikasa groaned at the point made, but we both later sighed.
"Fine, we'll go." I groaned. Mikasa and I made eye contact with each other, and I knew exactly what she wanted in exchange and I nodded in agreement.
"But only if we get the rest of the summer to go on a trip to Miami with a few friends while you two stay here," Mikasa said.
"No way!" my father exclaimed while he jumped from his seat.
"Then I guess we're not going to the camp," Mikasa and I said in unison. My mother and father looked at each other and my father sighed.
"Fine. But you can only go if you make two or more friends there and you can prove that you are friends with them and you're not just paying them off AND you behave while you are at the camp," my father said.
"Got it!" Mikasa and I said in unison again.
"Thank you for reaching an agreement. I did not want to force you two to go," my mom sighed thankfully. Mikasa yawned again as she got up and started to walk back to her bedroom.
"Wait! No going back to sleep. You're leaving today," my father informed us.
"What!? When?! Why didn't you tell us?!" I exclaimed.
"It was part of the back-up plan if you two didn't agree to go. We have to get going in 3 hours, so get ready. Pack for three weeks," my mother told us as we rushed upstairs.
"Three weeks?! God I hope this is worth it." I exclaimed to Mikasa, who nodded in agreement.

FanfictionShip Story Camps suck already as it is, at least for some people, but I think we can all agree that disciplinary camps are the worst. Camp Maria is one of them. I, Eren Jaeger, absolutely hate it here, especially the fact that the camp directors her...
