Everyone watched in fascination as golden power slowly filled the chamber. Except Gabriel, who was frowning in concentration. Was he having trouble with something? Was Jack in pain, or trying to stop the extraction? Jen tensed. Something seemed wrong.

"Stop!" Gabriel shouted at Cas. The angel snapped his head up at the order, and quickly but carefully pulled the needle from Kelly's stomach. Which was kinda gross when Jen thought about it... but bigger issues. And the small hole healed immediately, thanks to Gabriel.

Gabriel yanked his fingers away from Kelly's forehead and shook his hand out. "Dammit," he cursed. "The kid started trying to leech off my power before we got it all. He didn't get any of it, luckily, but he's still got some of his own in there." The archangel looked fairly calm, but he spoke a little too quickly for this to be the case.

Jennifer didn't point out this observation, of course. Instead, she opted for, "How much power does he have left, then? Enough to open a tear in the fabric of reality?" Gabe blinked at her.

"The hell would you ask that for?" Oh yeah, she forgot that he hadn't actually downloaded any knowledge from the Supernatural episodes he gave her. And she hadn't exactly explained the full extent of what she knew, either. "Wait, did he...." Gabe trailed off questioningly. Jen nodded, and the archangel raised a surprised eyebrow. "Huh. That's pretty powerful." Jen nodded.

"Uh, listen, angels can read minds, right?" Jen was hesitant to ask Gabriel to do that, but she thought that if anyone should know absolutely everything, it was the super powerful archangel. Gabriel frowned and nodded.

"Yeah, but-"

"Don't be stupid," Dean scoffed. "You don't let angels go poking around in your head!"

"Nope, shut up. You all need to know what I know, and I might not be able to remember it all, or describe it well enough, so showing you," Jen turned to Gabriel, "the memories is probably the best thing I can do. If anyone needs to know this stuff now, it's the really powerful archangel. And if you can get things from my memory that I can't, things that might help us fix this, then you better damn well do it!" Jen knew that her memory wasn't the greatest, and she knew that human memory in general was very flawed. It would be better if someone else had a clearer idea of everything. Gabriel exchanged a look with Cas.

"It'll be difficult," he began. "And you're going to need to focus, very hard. If you don't, I might end up traipsing through your private thoughts and memories." Jen sighed. Of course. Nothing was ever easy in Supernatural. It was like a metaphor for life. Anything could be made into a metaphor for life, though. Jen was good at finding the metaphor for life in things.

"Yeah, all right. I can do that. I think. At least it's faster than watching all of Season 12." Jen couldn't help but wonder what it'd be like having an archangel poking around her memories.

"Jennifer, are you sure?" Cas asked her. He sounded concerned. Jen was really touched by that for some reason. She hugged him. Jen hardly ever got to hug people, except her best friend and her family, but it was a little awkward with her family and she hardly ever saw her best friend. She supposed... she wouldn't see her ever again now. Or her fa-. Nope, couldn't dwell on that. Not the time. She'd deal with that later. For now, Jennifer would be glad that she. Was hugging. Castiel. And she should probably stop because she was probably looking really weird right now. So she did, and felt a blush begin creeping up her face. Dammit. Dean rolled his eyes, which was annoying, but bearable. But Gabriel was grinning at her. She glared.
