My bloody valentine

Out of all the things I've written in my younger years this is my favourite.

His arrows are cursed,
They pierce my skin
And hit my heart.

His touch I now thirst.
Upon my lips his poison dart.
A reckless encounter we shared.

His love was a deadly sin.
In my mind I see him dead.
Scattered across the floor the heart I did not love.

Its you I got sick of.
The morning when I wake,
Is when the floor is painted red,
With the blood of body's lotion.

My lover's life I did take,
His body left to rot away.
Thus making him my bloody valentine.
