34. Incomparable-Part 2 [I.M]

You averted your gaze away from the photo and shifted your eyes onto Changkyun. He was unusually engrossed.

"Yah,"you called Changkyun.

He clicked his head to you, just aware of your presence. He straightened his back and cleared his throat.

"Where are you bringing me?"you asked.

His poker face was now turned into a cheeky grin. "To my mum,"he winked.

"WHAT?!"

Throughout the journey, you bombarded questions at Changkyun but all you received were just plain responses and a deceiving grin. You got even more perplexed when he stopped by a flower boutique and bought a bouquet of flowers wrapped in brown paper. However, your whirl of thoughts simmered down when you and Changkyun arrived at the graveyard. 'Why did he bring me here?'

You fell into deep silence and trailed behind him, ensuring a safe distance as you still find Changkyun deceitful. He led you to a tombstone with the name 'Lee Suji' engraved on it. You watched as he rested the bouquet gently onto the tombstone and straightened his posture afterwards.

"Eomma, how was it up there? It must have been boring without me and Appa right? Was there a library in heaven?"he bombarded unanswered questions but your eyebrows furrowed upon his last question.

He chuckled. "Anyways, I brought my girl here."

You glared at him and slapped his arm. 'He better stop with the girl thing.' Your gaze softened when you shifted your eyes onto the tombstone. You bowed at it and introduced yourself. "Annyeonghaseyo, I'm Y/N."

"Honestly, Y/N isn't my friend nor my girl yet. She reminds me alot about you, Eomma. She loves to read like you, she's chic like you, she's popular like you but doesn't know it and..."

He craned his head to you. "She's pretty like you."

Gush of thoughts and emotions occupied your mind and body. 'Does he really think that way? Does he like me? Why is he interested in knowing me?'you thought. You could feel the single pound in your heart. The turbulent push from your heart was like a hummingbird's wings. Your cheeks grew kiss pink like a blooming spring rose. You averted your eyes away from Changkyun's undeniably warm smile. You experienced a whole new world. The side of Changkyun which was rare.

"Take care alright? I'll meet you soon,"said Changkyun.

Changkyun gestured that he was done so you followed by his side. You were flabbergasted. It felt like the person with you right now wasn't the psychopath or the school's bully. Instead, he was someone warm and caring. Changkyun spun on his heels and turned to you, startling you. You shot your head up.

"Where do you wanna go?"he asked.

You blinked your eyes. "You really want me to choose?"you rested your forefinger on your chest.

"Hurry up before I change my mind."

You tilted your head and scratched your hair. "I-I don't go out a lot so I don't really know where to go,"you stammered.

Changkyun narrowed his eyes at you. "It's because you're always reading at home and in school. I'll bring you to a club alright?"smirked Changkyun.
