ANGEL
Calum Hood fanfic

Pain. Her body felt pain. She was shaking, her legs
weak, hands gripping tightly onto the little boys
hand. He felt his own hand numb at how hard she
gripped, but he chose to be strong, for her.
Forehead dripping sweat as she screamed at the top
of her lungs, pushing with all the strength she had
left. The boy beside her watch her, wanting to do
something about her pain, wanting to take it all
away, but all he could do was watch, and caress her
cheek smiling at her. She knew she wasn't going to make
it, so she had to make sure that he was going to take
care of her, she needed him to tell her that he was
going to be strong;

"Please Cal, promise me you'll take care of her" the girl now with no strength left, whispers , eyelids closing slowly. The little boys head turned to the girl.

"Please Marilyn, don't talk like that, please she needs you" he begged, a tear slipped out of the boy's eye. The girl attempted to smile softly, not even having the strength to smile properly, to convince him.

"I'll be okay, I just need you to promise me Cal" she said breathing heavily, knowing that she's running out of time.

The boy wanting to make her feel better smiled, tears staring to spill, as he watched her eyes slowly closing; "I promise, Marilyn" he whispered. The girl smiled; opening her mouth for one last time, catching a breath; "take good care of Angelique"

The boy smiled and looked to the side, admiring the new born, the baby girl, he now promised to take care of; "I promise you, Marilyn, I will take good care of your baby girl" he sobbed, watching the lifeless girl lying on the bed.

He then turned to the nurse, who was standing there beside him, with the baby on her hands, he smiled and took the baby on his hands, the nurse asked; "What's going to be her name"

The little boy smiled at the girl lying on the bed, then turned to the baby on his hands;

"Angelique"
