You find yourself a deep pit. The walls and floor are concrete, rising easily sixty feet above you. The pit's radius is ten feet; subsequently the floor of the pit is twenty feet across in all directions. There are 1x1 slits in the walls, at five foot intervals, from the floor to the top of the pit. From these slits a pale blue light is emitted, filling the pit with an icy glow which pervades everything, allowing for little to no shadow.
The manner in which you entered the pit is not apparent, either in your mind or in the area. Neither is the way in which to go about leaving the pit.
