Days later after my brother funeral i sat back reminiscing. All I could think about was how I was gone get Zavion back for killing my brother. I mean the police takes forever to investigate so I did not have the patience to wait. "Here Lyea, It's more in the kitchen if you need it" Sasha said handing me a alcoholic drink. Sasha is somebody that I haven't talked to in years, She has always been my best friend we just drifted away after graduating college a couple years ago. She was that short ghetto friend that was down for whatever and whenever. Her brother was a drug dealer and the whole hood fw her. "Thank you girl" I said gazing in the ceiling holding my cup. "You want some of the food I cooked?" Sasha asked. "No im good girl, I appreciate everything you're doing for me." I said. "You know we got to get him. Just because we haven't talked in years don't mean I ever stopped loving you and dee" she said.  "How?" I said raising up desperately. "You want to kill him or do you want my brother them to take him out?" She asked. "I wanna kill him, I wanna see him die slowly, I want to look him dead in his eyes so he will know who his killer is" I said. "Damn girl, you sound like lil Percy" she said laughing. Lil Percy was my ex, he was so crazy about me, I still got love for him but I just had to end it with him because he got into trouble everyday. He was a good boyfriend though, he would cross my mind from time to time. "Sasha why you always bringing him up!" I said smiling a little. "Now you know Percy still love you and if he knew you was over here with me  he'd probably break his neck to come over here and see you" she said. "Girl!" I said smiling very hard. "Oweeee is that a smile I see?" She said looking in my face. See this is why she was and still is my best friend because throughout the good and bad she keep me smiling and happy. "Lil Percy ain't thinking about me, probably around here making babies" I responded playfully. "He always told me that he was gone wait to have kids with you" she said sipping her drink. I blurted out laughing. *KNOCK KNOCK* , Sasha walked to the door and opens it. "Wassuh Wassuh!" Said Joe, her big brother. "Wassup joe!" I said. "I'm sorry about lil dee man, stay up baby, you know we got you round here" he said. "Thank you Joe" I said. "So where you been boy" Sasha said to her brother. "Mane just got finish smoking with Lil Percy" he said. Sasha looked at me smiling, I looked off smiling and rolling my eyes playfully. "I'm finna hit him up and tell him to come thru" joe said. My eyes got huge. "Yea tell him to come thru and i made sum food in there if you hungry" Sasha said sitting back down beside me on the couch. "Sasha what the hell, you know I am not ready to see Percy right now!" I complained. "Girl you will be fine" she chuckled. *KNOCK KNOCK* .. my stomach immediately caught butterflies, oh my gosh it was Percy at the door I was so nervous. I was thinking about running to the back to hide because I was just not ready to see him. Sasha had opened the door. "Wassup percyyyyy" Sasha said yelling excited. I looked off. "Wassuh!" Percy said. Lord his voice was like no other, all smooth and deep, I stayed calm and finally raised up to make eye contact with him. "Hey how you doing Lyea ?" He said . "I'm okay" I said shyly. "Come here" he said. Sasha and Joe just sat back smiling at us making me smile cause they keep me laughing. "Okay" i said. I got up and went outside with him in his car. I slowly walked towards his car, it was so nice, the last car he had when we was together was all runned down and beat up. But this one was surprisingly nice. He opened the door for me, I looked down smiling. "Thank you" I said getting in. He got in on the driver side and as soon as he got in he grabbed my hands staring into my eyes. "So you seee me and can't show me love" he said staring into my eyes. I reached over and gave him a hug, it wasn't a normal hug, it was like comfort in his arms from all the pain I was going thru and he didn't wanna let me go. He finally released me gently. "Lyea I been missing you no lie" he said. "Thought you'd be too busy around these other h*es" I said looking out the window. He smacked his lips. "Yea I have but with you I'll never mess off and you know that" he said. That's one reason why I loved him, it was because he was just so honest. "Lemme ask you some." He said "Yea wassup" I said "Who's zavion?" He asked. "No percy I got this don't worry about him" I said quickly. "Lyea you know id go to jail for you? ill even die for you, now I need you to just tell me why this nigga killed dee because the streets are talking!" he said. I held my head down wordless. He knew me better than anybody just like I knew him so he didn't pressure me for answers. "Ima take you to this nice burger spot down the road" he said. I looked at him and smiled, I thought about old times cause I never wanted all that boujee food, I was always fine with a burger and fries and Percy knew that. "Well let's go, I'll text Sasha so she can know where I'm going" I said. "Aite" he said turning on the car and pulling out of the yard. The whole way there he never let go of my hand. I felt so secure with him. Finally we got there ordered our food and sat down to eat. "I Guess I'll tell you about zavion" I said slowly. "Okay I'm listening baby" he replied. "He was my ex, his family was rich, all we ate was that fancy food you know that type of food that you can't spell" I said laughing. He smilled and started laughing "oh so he that type huh?" He said . "Yes, like this burger I havent had this in 5 months" I said laughing. "Your so strong Lyea" he said "thank you" I said bitting into a fry. "You going thru hardships and you still smiling, Dee wants you to smile and be happy" he said reaching his hand across the table grabbing mines. "So how this all start?" He asked. "Well it started on me and Zavion 6th month anniversary and I was.... . I paused staring out the window we sat beside. "Oh my god" I said covering my mouth. "WHAT?" He yelled. "LYEA WHAT???" ..... I slowly put my food down. "THATS HIM!" I pointed out the window at Zavion getting into a black car. Why was he here? In the hood? He's like a hour in a half away from where he lives. So much ran through my mind. "Get up !" Percy yelled. "We finna follow him" he said. I rushed to the car and jumped in. We had passed about 4 lights and Zavion was still driving and he made a stop at some run down building. "YOOOO WTF, i know this building, me and joe be out around here" Percy said slowly parking. I was so eager and nervous all at once I wanted him dead but I'm not a killer. Percy grabs a gun out off this hidden department under his seat. "Sit back and close your eyes lyea . "Wait Percy waitttt." I yelled. Percy jumped out the car and eased around the corner where Zavion was.... it was a couple minutes and I open my eyes and seen nobody in sight, it was already dark outside and I had no idea where I was. I sat back checking the time on my phone. Then all of a sudden .....*POWWWWW POWWWWWW* gunshots where fired!!!! But the question was who got shot? .......
