Draco and I sit in our lone compartment on the Hogwarts Express. Not talking to each other. There's nothing to talk about anyways, we spent the summer in our parents summer mansion, like every year. No wonder I don't bother speaking to him 10 hours later.

"So." Draco clears his throat. Breaking the quietness in the room. "So." I say, my tone cold. "Look, I know our situation is not ideal, but we are going to have to live with it." He hisses at me. "No shit, Malfoy." I roll my eyes at him.

How could my parents possible think we'd make a good match. We dispise each other. I can not imagine myself ever having children with that slick git. The thought of it makes me itch. They will probably have to chain me up to make me have children with him.

"You don't have to call me that." He says, staring at me irritated. Do I sense a bit of hurting? No, he's as emotionless as his father. Lucius Malfoy. Two drops of water they are. Ohhh, Draco better not grow his hair like his father. I swear i'll cut it off.

"I can call you whatever I like." I smirk at him. He shakes his head. "You will be sharing that name with me one day. You little rat." He scoffs. That bastard. Calling me a rat. He'll see who's the rat in the room. "What would our parents do if one of us were to die or mysteriously vanish?" I ask, a grin across my face.

"Don't you think about it!" His expression changes. It's no longer emotionless. He seems to ... care? No, he doesn't give a rat's ass about me. He just wants the bloodline to stay pure. Pure my ass.

"Don't tell me you've never thought about it." I say while raising my eyebrows. I think of ways to change this all the time. He looks down at his feet.

"Oh, believe me, I have." He mutters. Something has changed about him this summer. I'm not quite sure what it is. But I'm sure i'll find out.

The train comes to a stop. We're here. Hogwarts. "Guess we're here." Draco reminds me as if I don't know what Hogwarts looks like. "Yeah, thanks for reminding me. I know what our school looks like, Malfoy. It's our sixth year." I roll my eyes. I see him sigh in irritation.

"From now on, no one can see this behavior. We must make them believe we are in love." Malfoy says. "This is our fourth year as a couple. I'm pretty sure they'll buy it." I say. The irritation is noticable in my voice.

Alright Eloria. Heads up, confidence high, smile. And go.

Draco and I step out the Hogwarts Express. He holds onto my hand awkwardly. What happened to him? I look at him confused.

"Everything okay, Malfoy?" I ask him. He doesn't even give me a glance. Just a small nod. No, I know something's wrong here. And i'm going to find out what that is by the end of this night.

We walk into Hogwarts, as excited as ever, we sit down at the Slytherin table, our hands intertwined. I rest my head on Draco's shoulder. I like him as a friend, I can't stand the guy sometimes. But I grew up with him. That's something.... memorable.

"You two are so cute together!" It's Kendina Grontsler. Fellow Slytherin house member. "We are not cute. We are fierce." I correct her. Cute is for babies. We are 16 years old.

A strand of hair falls in front of my face when I take my head off of Draco's shoulder to glare at Hermoine Granger walking in the room. I hate that little know it all so much. I snap out of it when I feel someone touch my face. It's Draco. He tucks the strand of my golden brown hair behind my ear and smiles at me. He does have a nice smile. I smile back at him, just because people are watching.

After the sorting ceremony we have welcomed some new Slytherins and show them the way around the dungeons and common room. First years can be so annoying.
