Bumbershoot 2016
This day could not go by fast enough. I've spent all day preparing for this, and its finally here.
I step out of my car, a beautiful blue beat up jeep, great right? Except when its slightly rainy and cold. Anyways, I walk to the back, grabbing my Everybody sweatshirt out of my waterproof bag, and throw it on, then walk to the line for the dreaded waiting, but it doesn't take as long as expected and I even have time to buy a poster from this concert, and quickly throw it in my bag, heading to my seats in the front row, and getting ready to watch all of the amazing talent on this stage, checking three times that this was the stage Logic would be on.
Finally, the act before Logic finishes and with an uproar, he runs out and gets right into Fade Away and I go along with every word.
LETS PAUSE THIS RIGHT HERE... Something you don't know about me, I have a tiny problem with crowds, social anxiety wise, but I know I need to get out more so this was my best choice, so. Me+Crowds= No good. Now, back to the story...
One second I'm singing along happily to Felxicution the next, I'm on the ground and passed out, completely oblivious to the rest of the people around me, and as it is shown in a video later, a security gaurd sees my arm on the ground and immediantly clears a space, pulling me up and out of the crowd, getting Logic's attention, and then I wake up on a black sofa, in what seems to be a tent outside, with a cool rag on my head and something cold on my ankle.
I sit up and look around, looking down and seeing my sweatshirt is off, and my hair is out of its ponytail.
"Hello?" I ask out into the tent, hoping for an answer, as the worst case scenarios run through my head, what if I'm kidnapped? But would they have taken care my my ankle? My thoughts are intterupted by a person coming in through the tents opening
"Are you alright? We got you off the ground as quick as we could, we didn't even notice anyone was down" a voice speaks.
As they come into view, I recongnize as the gaurd who stood infront of me at the show.
"I'm okay, my head is a little dizzy, but I haven't stood up yet" I pause for a moment "how long have I been out did I miss the ending of the concert? Who did logic bring to sing with him?" I ramble out quickly.
"Woah, slow down, you have only been out about 15 minutes, and yes you missed the end, but Logic didn't bring anyone up on stage today." The gaurd laughs a bit at me when stutter "whats your name?".
"I'm not one if the original guards, I just work at this venue, the names David, and you are Righle, we checked your I.D to see if you had anything specially requested for when you pass out."
I nod, slightly upset that I missed the end of the concert. "okay then." I stand and wince at a slight pain in my ankle, and limp slightly towards the door "well I am just gonna, uh, leave I really should be getting home" I turn back towards the door bumping into a chest as I stumble forward, and the gaurd protests, but I hear a voice above his
"Well, well, well, look who woke up" the voice laughs slightly.
I look up and try not to loose my mind as I stare up into the face of the one I came to see today.
