Christine hid in her room, hoping to get away from her parents fighting. It's been going on for a year, she's now 6 and it just seems to be getting harder and harder for her to tune out the loud yelling coming from the living room. She didn't even know what they were fighting about until now. From her spot on the floor she tunes out her parents until something catches her attention; the heart breaking words that just roll out of his mouth.
"Maybe if we never had Christine then I wouldn't be so tense all the time, she was a mistake" her father screamed back before a loud bang was heard and she could hear a car drive away.
