Authors notes *please read*

Hey people -.-
I'm a new writer and this is my first work, so I would really appreciate advice and criticism.

This is set in America *obviously* and I am from Australia, so I'm still learning about the geography and how the schools run and other stuff like that, so if I do make any mistakes to do with stuff like that, please pick me up on it, and I will fix it up.

Okay so getting to the good stuff *winks with both eyes*, this story features mostly Frerard, a bit of Rikey, and maybe some others along the way. THERE WILL BE SMUT. EVENTUALLY.

Ahaha okay so yea..... Have fun, read, enjoy :P

Frank's POV.

I pulled my duffle bag out of the car and eyed my surroundings carefully. There was a two story house painted in an off beige, with chips of paint eroding off the corners. It was probably quite pretty in its day, but no one has bothered to put the time and effort into it anymore. The lawn looked some what nicer, with a small garden running across the side of the house, and a couple of garden nomes littered around the freshly cut grass. This place looked slightly better than the last, but no doubt, in a few months I'll be passed on to the next family, like an old toy that nobody wants.

I've been in foster care since I was 4 and I never seem to last long with any family. Over the years I've been with 11 families, and I only stick around for 8 months on average. Some families are worse than others, but as long as they give me privacy and some sort of freedom, I try to fit in and get along with them.

I slowly made my way to the porch and stopped as I saw a golden retriever through the door. She cocked her head to the side and sniffed the air, then backed away, growling softly.

"Oh hush Cookie, you don't want to scare him do you?" A woman laughed as she peered past the dog, grabbing her by the collar and making her sit.
"Come in dear, you must be dying in the heat."

It was 90 degrees out and I was wearing skinny jeans and a misfits tee with my favourite pair of vans. I was sweating a fair bit but hey, I'd rather be fashionable than comfortable.

I mumble a thank you as I walk through the the door.

The inside of the house was certainly nicer than I expected...

As I stepped onto the marble floor, my eyes went straight to the grand staircase in front of me. The steps were covered in beige carpet and spiralled up to the second floor. There were pictures of family and friends scattered on the walls, and a crystal chandelier above us.

I gasped, and the woman smiled at me and scanned the room as well.

"I guess it is a bit grand, but it will start to feel like home soon," she said, "Come on, we'll get through introductions, then I'll give you a tour of the house."

I follow her into the next room on the left, which I assumed was the living room. There were two big leather white lounges, surrounding a small, glass coffee table. A massive flat screen TV hung from the wall, linked with surround sound speakers. I sat down on the edge of one of the lounges and picked up an apple from the decorative fruit basket on the table and took a bite.

"I'm sorry luv, I haven't introduced myself properly yet. My name's Linda, Linda Roberts. And your name is Frank Aro??"

"It's pronounced Iero," I mumbled, looking down at the carpet.
