Andy

"Andy this is a bad idea." Ashley said as he followed me into Abigail's backyard.

"I'm not leaving without her." I replied.

"And  what are you going to say to her? How can you possibly explain this to her?" Jake said.

"I'll figure it out." I told them.

"Andy-"

"Guys I can't leave her. I just can't." I said before I started to climb the tree next to her window.

Abigail looked up from her computer when she saw me and since me crawling through her window at random times was a normal thing, she wasn't surprised to see me.

"Hi Andy." She smiled.

"Abi, run away with me." I said, straight forward as I walked over to her closet and pulled a duffle bag off the top shelf.

"What?" She questioned, her smile fading. I heard her get off the bed while I started shoving some of her clothes into the bag.

"Run away with me and the guys." I repeated.

"Andy-"

"Abi please. The guys and I are leaving tonight and I'm not leaving without you." I stated.

When she stayed silent I did something I didn't intend to, but it was something I had been wanting to do for a while. I kissed her.

"I have to get out of here so please just come with me. I can't lose you." I begged.

"Andy what's going on?" She asked, placing her hands on my cheeks.

"We're running away." I smiled.

"Why do you have to get out of here?" She replied.

I ignored her question and continued to pack up her things.

"Andy!" She yelled. "Tell me what's happening. I've known you for years, I can tell when something's worrying you, just tell me."

"The only thing that's worrying me right now is losing you." I told her.

I dropped the bag and took her hands in mine. It was silent except for my heavy breathing as I pressed my forehead against hers.

"Please." I whispered, squeezing her hands.

She pulled away from me and knelt down to pick up the bag. I watched as she put a few more things into the bag along with a picture of the two of us together. Without a word she walked over to the window and climbed down the tree. I took one more look at her room before following after her.

"Abi." I trailed off. "I shouldn't be forcing you to leave-"

"I have no one besides you guys in this town. I've been waiting for the chance to leave and nows my chance." She said. I saw her eyes glisten with tears as she took one more glance at her house. I laced my fingers through hers as we began to walk towards the car parked down the street.
