Part 1.

Life is boring right now. All I have to do with my time is watch the same show on Netflix over and over again until I get bored of it, which I haven't yet.
I need an adventure. Haven't had fun in a long time, but I don't know what to do.
"Any ideas, Jeremy?", Alex asked while sipping her iced tea gingerly.
"We could go hiking or something.", Jeremy said, his hair blowing in the wind.
It was a hot day and Jeremy was ten times hotter. He has the most beautiful blue eyes and blond hair, perfectly matching his skin tone. He always cut his hair short, but that's the way I liked it. Something seemed off about him today though. He was distant. Normally Jeremy would be excited and joyous at the thought of starting a new adventure, but for some reason, he wasn't today.
"Are you okay, Jer?", Alex asked with a cocked eyebrow.
"I'm not sure", he whispered under his breath.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine.", her best friend said with a sigh.
"I have to go, I have homework", Jeremy said as he picked up his bag off the picnic bench on Alex's deck and hurried off.
Before Alex could get a word in, he was gone.
