It's kind of concerning how people today are so used to being judged, hated, miss treated, feeling unwanted or unloved, etc. that when you try to give them your love, they close themselves off, thinking that they're not good enough. That they don't deserve your love.
Everyone deserves to be loved. If not always by everyone, than at least once by someone. No matter who they are, what they've been through, what they look like, how people view them, how they view themselves... they deserve to feel love.
So next time someone tries to reach out to you, to make you feel wanted, someone who wants to care for you and to at least help you to smile, please let them. If what they're offering is authentic, warm, caring, and selfless love, why deny it? Accept it, and cherish it. And once you're ready, give it back to them in return.
