Cover Your Eyes!

Prologue

"Cover your eyes!" I hear someone yell as a van pulls up beside me. I do as they say but next thing I know there's a MASSIVE flash of light and then I wake in a hospital bed in a room with my mother next to me. Apparently I was effected by this weapon called the "Light Bomb". The way the nurse described it was. "Take an atomic bomb and give it steroids." Which was an absolute horrible description because it effects inanimate objects in a small area and living organisms in a ridiculously big area and apparently i am lucky to be alive and others weren't so much. Since I'm one of the limited survivors the nurse gave me this journal to write how my condition. Why someone dropped a bomb on a random Australian town is the question I've been asking myself since I woke up which made my current condition pissed and curious, I will find out the answer to the question but for now I need to rest because the explosion drained most of my energy so goodnight.
