"No. You took someone I loved, so I'm taking someone you love."
He spat then shot the ground at our feet.

Several men suddenly entered the house and surrounded us. They began to circle us, walking in either direction.

They were doing what Lincoln had done when he took me. He realized this also because he wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me into him.

He pointed his gun at them and I stared at all of them.
"Your phone."
I whispered and he looked down at me. He nodded his head and we turned toward the group.

He kept a tight grip on my waist as I put my head down for protection.
"Now."
He muttered and we raced through the group, knocking them out of the way then running down the hallway.

We made it into the bedroom and he slammed the door shut, pressing himself up against it while I grabbed his phone.

I called John quickly and he picked up right away.
"Hello-"
"John we need help. We're at the honeymoon spot but Maxwell Junior came and he's trying to take me please come quickly he has other people, I have to call Enid, please hurry."
I said quickly into the phone before hanging up and calling Enid.

"Enid! Maxwell Junior came to the honeymoon spot and he's trying to take me, you have to hurry please. He has other men."
I said into the phone quickly and she hung up.
"We need to get to the neighbours or something."
I told Lincoln as they began to hit the doors and he nodded.

"Go. Go through the window and escape with them, understand?"
He ordered and I looked back at him with wide eyes.

"No! We'll both go-"
"No. You go, and escape. I'll get back with you don't worry."
He replied and I pressed our lips together.

I pulled away and he watched me as I threw open the window and jumped out.

I began to run to our neighbours house as they came outside.
"We have to go! We have to go!"
I screamed at them as they began to run for me, clearly noticing I was in a panic.

"No! Get the car! We have to go!"
I screamed when suddenly two gunshots rang out and they both fell to the ground, screaming in pain.
"No!"
I shrieked, looking back at Maxwell.

Brian and Tricia lay on the ground, their legs shot. I ran to them and tried to help them get up but they wouldn't cooperate.

"Please! Please! We have to go!"
I sobbed trying to help them up when a fistful of my hair was grabbed. Maxwell began to drag me away from them, down the beach while I screamed.

"Lincoln! Lincoln!"
I shrieked as the men all began to come out of the house. They dragged a bloody and beaten Lincoln outside with them.

They threw him onto the sand and he looked up at me as Maxwell threw me onto the sand also.
"Let her go!"
Lincoln shouted at them, recieving a kick in the face. He rolled onto his back and groaned.

"No! Stop!"
I cried out racing for him. I threw myself over him and he wrapped an arm around me.

He suddenly flipped us, so his body was over mine. He kept a tight grip on me, hovering over me protectively.

I wrapped my arms around his neck as tears slid down my face.
"Don't cry. It'll be ok. I'm going to keep you safe."
He whispered as the men surrounded me and I kept a grip on Lincoln.
"I know."
I whispered.

The men surrounded us and I squeezed my eyes shut. They grabbed Lincoln and tried to tear him away from me.

He tripped them both and they fell to the ground.
"You are not taking her."
Lincoln spat at Maxwell when the rest of the men surrounded us.

Lincoln grunted then managed to get up on his knees. I sat on my knees also, gripping his neck as he held my waist. He glared at all of the men, tightening his grip on me, practicly squeezing me.

I could feel his slight tremble, he was weak. We both knew it.
"I don't want them to kill you. Let me just go with them."
I whispered, the tears rolling hard down my cheeks.

He looked at me and shook his head.
"No."
He replied and I rested my head on his shoulder and tried to calm my breathing.

Lincoln was tore from me and was beaten on the ground while two other men grabbed me, dragging me away.

"Lincoln!"
I screamed reaching for him and he tried to reach for me as they beat him. I was pushed into the sand and Maxwell sighed.

"You're right, we're not taking her."
He told Lincoln and my eyebrows knotted together. Maxwell nodded his head towards me and the man punched me in the head, hard.

I fell back against the sand and groaned, as my vision began to go blurry.

"Throw him in the trunk."
Maxwell announced and I sat up. They began to drag Lincoln towards their cars and my eyes widened.

"Lincoln!"
I screamed once more. I tried to get up and run for him but the man shoved me back down and kicked my chin.

I rolled onto my stomach and looked towards the car. They slammed Lincoln's head against the car hard and he fell to the ground, unconcious.

"No."
I groaned, my head pounding and he pulled out his gun.
"Goodnight princess."
He muttered and slammed the butt end of the gun against my head, kocking me out.
