Mauve and Silver (Part 2)

"You're not allowed here," He was struggling with the sweat and the stirrer.

"I'm not peeking," Reyanna said. She held his face sideways, making sure it didn't distract him or burn him while cooking and wiped away the sweat gently. She even tried to dry his hair a bit. By now Reyanna was sure of one thing, she liked when he was sweaty. She had sweat fetish, sue her!

Hayden grinned at her and kissed her cheek lovingly. Reyanna smiled biting her lip and looked away. She had just shown him the first gesture of care. It felt good and she wanted to do more.

"You, miss, out!" Her Abuelo commanded coming into the kitchen.

"You prefer the Duke over me?" She pouted but her Abuelo raised an eyebrow. "Okay, okay. I'm out," She said and stood outside again.

Reyanna couldn't believe her Abuelo was taking Hayden's side. Apparently, everyone in her house was in love with Hayden, her dog, her Abuelos, the staff. Everyone including her.

"I'm done!" Hayden announced 15 minutes later.

The staff had already set the table with Reyanna. She made sure that everything was perfect. If she couldn't help in the kitchen, she would help outside. Hayden made her and her Abuelos sit at the dining table as he served them the food.

"I could never imagine in my life that a Duke would serve me food," Her grandfather looked amused.

"And I could never imagine seeing one in my kitchen," Her grandma chuckled.

As Hayden reached her, he kept a slice, which looked like stuffed bread, on her plate. He then served her with pasta.

"You made pasta?" She was surprised.

"Your Abuela told me you love Alfredo so I made this. And that's a different dish so do try and give your feedback," Hayden grinned.

He just called her grandmother Abuela! And it was hot!

"I'll eat when you do," Reyanna said taking the bowl from him and served pasta on his plate. "Sit," She ordered.

"Never thought I would get ordered around by a wedding planner," He joked, and everyone laughed before eating.

'I never thought I would fall in love with a Duke,' Reyanna thought.

She bit into her food and had to control a moan when she bit into the pasta because it was that good. She took a bite of the delicious looking cheesy bread and eyes widened. It tasted like fajitas, but it was something else.

Her Abuela must have told him that she liked Mexican food.

"This is better than anything I've tasted. Abuela put it on your blog," Reyanna told her grandma.

She just shook her head.

"It's not my recipe. It's the Duke's," She told her. Reyanna gaped at Hayden who smiled sheepishly.

"You are a gourmet cook as well?" She asked.

"Well 5 years of University teaches you something," He grinned. "I really am a great cook!" Hayden exclaimed and Reyanna shook her head and continued eating.

If she hadn't totally fallen in love with him now, Reyanna was sure she was now. He was a Duke and a cook! He looked delicious while sweating and he loved her truly, what more can a girl ask for?

When it was time for him to leave Reyanna went to see him out. It was warm now, not as warm as Barcelona, but pretty warm. She was back to wearing her dresses and culottes without overcoats and socks. Hayden now too was seen in a casual shirt in jeans. To be honest, the look suited him more than those serious and royal clothes he often wore.
