Rylen wanted to scream in agitation as she closed the door of her room harshly. What did the Coach mean by being properly dressed? She wasn't some savage or wore rags. Why couldn't she wear her ripped jeans?

Rylen loved those jeans more than any clothing item she owned. Even more than her denim jackets. Why the hell would she wear anything else, and that too for a stupid party?

Rylen had a pair of skinny jeans for various parties her parents took her to. She admitted they weren't ripped, and she didn't mind them, but nobody minded her clothing style then. So why now? Why does she have to wear those damned girly clothes to a place where nobody cares who she was?

Okay, they would care who she was, but they all had seen her on the field. It's the talent that matters, not the clothes.

"Blasted fudging fuckercrakers!" Rylen shouted loudly before falling face down on her bed. "I am not wearing any dress, ever!" She screamed into the mattress.

"Rylen why are you..." Her Mama paused as Rylen heard her come in.

"Ever heard of knocking, Mama?" Rylen seemed irritated.

"What is up with you, Ry?" She asked as Rylen felt her bed dip, and figured her Mama sat on her bed.

Rylen looked at her worried Mama and sighed.

"As you know there is an idiotic party before the season starts for football clubs to show sportsman spirit and shit?" Rylen asked. Her Mama nodded.

"Coach Rodriguez said I have to go there in proper attire, like not what I wear regularly," Rylen whined.

"Didn't you ask if you could wear trousers instead of your jeans?" She asked and Rylen groaned.

"I did. He said being the only female player playing in the team I have to wear feminine clothes to, you know, ensure that we have no issues with a female playing rough games, and our team appreciates everyone. That's bullshit if you ask me. They wouldn't have easily let me play if Papa wasn't one of their trustees," Rylen scoffed.

"Rylen get up, and sit properly," Her Mama ordered. Rylen grunted, but got up and sat Indian style in front of her Mama.

Rylen noticed her Mama wasn't in her work clothes, which was rare as she was always working.
