(Y/N) was dragged with harshness, deep into the dungeon again. Furious the Phantom pulled at her arm that for sure showed some bruises the next day. Trying to get away from his strong grip, he turned to her looking deep into her eyes. Seeing no other way out, (Y/N) took of his mask like he had done it with her at the ball. His disfigured face look at the porcelain face of his loved one. No words were spoken as began dragging her further away again.
When they arrived at the cave, he led her to puppet that had her height. It was clothed in a white wedding gown with the fitting veil on it's head. „You will be mine. Forever!" he said into her ear.
Seeing no point in fighting the man, she took the Victorian styled dress and put it on. „Are you happy now?" she asked after she put the dress on. Not showing any fear. He looked at her musing on how perfect the dress fitted her. „So Perfect. The only thing that stands in our way is this horrible face!" He looked away from her. „Why (Y/N)? WHY!?" he screamed and his booming voice echoed back from the walls. „You must know..." she went to the covered up mirror. „I'm not afraid of the man I see, but the Monster his soul created." with that she pulled the cover from the mirror, so that the Phantom could see himself in it. For the first time he felt so warm. Knowing she wasn't afraid what she saw when she looked at his true face. For a few seconds, he felt regret of what he had done.
In the mirror, he could see the reflection of the man who had stolen his (Y/N) from him and he turned around. „You!" (Y/N) looked up. „Sherlock!" she screamed his Name for the first time. „Let her go!" Sherlock was completely wet, his coat and hat long forgotten in the halls. Now only wearing a white shirt with the first few buttons open and black trousers. His hair hang in his face and was no longer slicked back but curly. The Phantom clenched his teethe and pulled a lever that would allow Sherlock to enter the cave when the grid was far up.
As fast as he could Sherlock got in, the water making it difficult to walk probably. „(Y/N) are you okay?" Sherlock asked, seeing the Girl nod her head made him feel relieved that he came on the right time. But the Phantom had other plans he grabbed a grab and let the grid sank down again in a rapid pace. „This is my World. You won't take her away from me again!" he screamed as he forced himself on the dark haired man.
Both men now fighting in the water, (Y/N) was shocked. She was frozen. To know she couldn't help at all. The fight ended with Sherlock tied to the grid, trying to escape the ropes, but they were far to tied and he cut the material into his wrists. The Phantom looked back up to (Y/N). „Now. You should decide. But choose wisely my dear." again he grabbed another rope that was braided in a loop to hang some on. The rope, now around Sherlocks neck and the Phantom pulled it tight around his head. (Y/N)s face was stained with tears. Fearing that the Phantom really would kill Sherlock in front of her. The Phantom pulled at the rope and it laced up Sherlocks neck. „No! Please stop!" The Woman pleaded, but the man pulled stronger on the rope. Sherlocks face turned pale due the lack of air.
„Please. My Angel of Music." (Y/N) muttered and stepped near the water. The tight grip on the rope loosend a bit and Sherlock breathed out. The Woman in the wedding dress stepped into the Water. „What have they done to you? To the Creature they created? The harmless man behind this mask." She went right in front of him and stroked his disfigured face. Their faces got closer and closer until their lips met in a kiss.
No one had ever kissed or touched him like that. Not even his own Mother would touch him. He looked into her eyes, seeing the fire he loved so much in her and kissed her again. Sherlock watched as they both shared a kiss and than pulled away. The Phantom took of the loop rope and got out the water.
„Go now! Leave me alone! Quick before they come. Forget about me. Life, like I never existed in your lives." He muttered and (Y/N) did quick to untie Sherlock. They smiled at each other, grateful that both were okay. „Go! Leave already!" he screamed in knowing that the police and stage workers would search for him. He glanced at the little Music Box that stood proudly on a rock and played a soothing sound. „My old Music Box" (Y/N) noticed. The phantom looked at her. „I found it when you lost it." he said. She smiled a little. „Keep it. It seems to make you happy." He sat down with the Music Box in his lap, watching as Sherlock and (Y/N) left in the boat. He hummed the little Melody that came out of the Box.
Masquerade!
Paper faces on parade . . .
Masquerade!
Hide your face,
so the world will never find you!
A tear escaped his eyes, as he watched his love vanish in the mist. Then he got up, placed the music box away and smashed all the mirrors that held his reflection. He screamed in anger and grief. The last mirror led him to an escape way and he pulled the big red curtain, that would hide the mirror, back in place as he vanished into the darkness.
Right after that, thousands of police men and stage workers came in, together with Ereena who, despised Johns suggestions, went down to find (Y/N). But the cave was empty when they arrived. Only the broken mirrors gave away that some had lived her. Ereena looked everywhere for a live sign of somebody, when she found the old Music Box (Y/N) brought with her when she came to Paris. Ereena knew that this Box meant a lot to her Friend, but decided it should stay down here. When she looked closer, she could see the Mask of the Phantom laying beside the Music Box. So he was here. Ereena looked all around but there was no live sign of anyone.
