Part 3: The Phantoms Bride

After Sherlock was done John spoke up „That is, again, some case that will turn out bad. I can tell you that Holmes." But Holmes smiled. „There is the fun in it Watson. For now we should split up again. I talk to Ereena this time about (Y/N) and you are questioning Mrs. Valenza and (Y/N) herself." John just nodded and again both of the men split up.

- With John -

John had to admit it was hard to find Mrs. Valenza. She could be anywhere and nowhere and he looked the Opera House up and down till he reached the big kitchen where he finally found her. „Oh Monsieur Watson." Nicoline said surprised to see the Doctor here. Watson got up to her and spoke up „Good evening Mrs. Valenza do you mind if I question you something?" The Woman looked him up and down and than nodded „But of course you can sit down." She gestured to a chair beside her and John sat down, while Nicoline sat across from him. „About the Phantom... Your Daughter told me it all started when you where a kid. So how did it start?" The Woman was totally taken aback by this question, but when she recovered from her shock moment she looked around the room. „Not here. Follow me." She then got up and walked out followed by a very confused John.

Both of them went through halls until they arrived at a door and Nicoline told him to get in before get in herself and lock the door. Swallowing John turned to the Lady, not knowing what she had in mind. „Don't worry Monsieur Watson this is just for our own security." she went to a lamp and turned it on. The man looked around and it seemed that they went into Nicolines bedroom. The Woman sat down and looked up to the Man in front of her. „He can't hear us in here." she than stated and John assumed she meant ‚the Phantom'. He himself sat down and faced her.

She sighed and started to talk. „It all started when I was a little Girl. I was trained in ballet in this Opera House and one day a circus came into town. We all went there and saw the curiousest things we ever saw in our lives. A man led us to cage with a banner on it that red ‚The Devils Child'. We all went up to it and in there was a boy. He was skinny like he hadn't ate in ages and had a bag over his head. When the man took off the bag from the head of the boy everyone screamed or laughed, threw things at the poor boy just because he had a disfigured face. I pitied him. So after the show, I stayed hidden. What I saw next made me scared for a live time. The man who tortured the poor boy was brutally strangled by the boy himself. Still I had saved him so I took him by the hand and brought him here." John listened carefully not sure of what so say.

Nicoline looked at an old picture of herself and started again. „Since than he just knew the life of the Opera. He is a genius. He is a great architect, artist and musician. Very talented." She sighed and John looked at her with serious eyes. „Mrs. Valenza. This Genius turns out to be a madman." And she nodded with the words ‚I know.' The man got up and thanked her for her telling him that and left after locking the door back open.

Sherlock met Ereena in the corridors near the stage and stopped her by pulling at her arm. „May I speak to you?" confused as to why so many people wanted to talk to her today, she just nodded. „Good. It's about (Y/N)..." he couldn't go further because Ereena spoke up. „I knew it. You like her!" she half shouted. Utterly confused Holmes shook his head. „No I..." a sigh escaped his lips. That's why he hated talking to people with lower brains. „That is not what I meant. Did she acted weird in any sort?" Ereena looked to the floor and that was a yes to Sherlock. „What happened?" He asked impatient teired of waiting any longer. „Ereena this is important. She could be in danger!" he nearly screamed. Ereena looked him in the eyes and started to talk.
