"Seasons"

by Haya Hawari

8- Yellow

The winter with a cold heart

comes to blow us apart

it blows, snows and puff

with no scene of love

as it cannot continue on

it starts to move on

Then comes spring out of nowhere

flowers blooming everywhere

and animals moving here and there

it shines on us a ray of love

and when it needs a rest

it just stops!

Here comes summer

with its hot rays

for the sun stays, comes up everyday

and when its rays weaken

you have to start getting ready for a new season.

The winter’s little brother autumn

comes here with cool winds and breeze

to cool us down from the summer’s heat

informing us that winter is near.
