As a part of our school's English-related activities, a poetry competition was launched. Students from grades six to twelve had the chance to participate in the competition. The competition was held for two days. The first day was for students of grades six to eight, while the second was for students from grades nine to twelve. Students had forty five minutes to write a free verse poem. After the students submitted their poems, the English language teachers met and started grading the poems. Finally, the winners were chosen and were given special awards in the morning assembly. We decided to share with you the poems of the winners, and we would love to see your comments.
