Unnoticed

Chapter 2

After your History class, you go to the lunchroom and try to find the guy you bumped into. You search carefully at each table around you because there are a lot of them. Then, you finally spot him with a group of other boys at his table. You look at him for a while until he notices you, which isn't that long. You and him look at each other for a second, but you turn away and walk to a table near you. He looks shocked at first, but continues eating. You eat slowly and don't look up from your food. There's a lot of noise around you, but you ignore it because all you're thinking about is the guy.

Nothing but the guy.

After you finish eating you go to the library to just sit and think. When you walk inside the library, you see him. Pulling a book out of a shelf. Hoping he doesn't see you, you go to the far end of the room and sit in the corner. You pick up a book that interests you and start reading. Then, the guy comes and sits next to you. You look at him and he smiles.

"Hello," he says.

"Hello." Your voice shakes like you can't speak or words seem like they can't get out of your mouth.

He starts reading the book he pulled out earlier when you came in, but you keep looking at him. You think that it's not right to be with this guy. A dorky girl with no friends with a cute, cool guy. It seems impossible.

You also continue reading, but he interrupts you, asking what kind of book you are reading. You answer with uncertainty. "Umm... Fantasy," you say.

He nods and said ," Sorry that I knocked your books down. I was sorta rushing to class," rubbing his back neck.

You say that it's fine and that he's forgiven and put your eyes on the book again so he won't see you blush when you looked into his eyes. When you look at the corner of your eye, you see that he's looking at you and smiling. Then he says:

"By the way, my name is Jimin."
