The pain starts behind my eyes, terrifyingly enough, and quickly spreads throughout my cranium. I can't tell what's causing it, but it's slowly intensifying. The pounding of blood in my ears drowns out any outside noise, and my vision is completely obstructed by a blinding haze. Wonderful. I clench my jaw, not realizing that I've bitten down on my tongue, and blood is slowly filling my mouth. I can smell something burning. The pain is unbearable now, and I feel my vision fading completely. Then, a sickening pop shatters my eardrums.
