I Am Damaged//Klance

Based off the beginning of this

"I am damaged. Far too damaged. But you're not beyond repair." Keith was intensely staring into my eyes.

"Keith?" I questioned "where are we going? It's the middle of the night, I don't like it."

"We're here." Keith said avoiding the question.

I looked around. I was confused until I saw a cliff. What are we doing here?

"Lance," Keith touched my shoulder. "I love you." He backed up. Oh. Oh.

"Keith wait!" I shouted at the top my lungs.

He looked behind him and back at me. "I'd trade my life for yours. You dont need me Lance. You deserve so much better. This is for the greater good."

He then started singing. One of the very first things he said to me when we started dating.
"Our love is god."

Each time he said it he took a step back. This isnt real! Theres no way this is happening!
One more. One more step and it was all over. Keith's life will be taken away from all of us. I'm in too much shock to stop him. I did what I do best. I cried.

"Our love is god."
He said one last time dragging out the last note.

"Say hi to god." I whispered. He didn't hear me. It was too late. That's it. He's really gone. I started screaming. What was I to do?

I got up. I started walking closer to the edge.

"Lance! Lance! Wake up!"

I shot out of my bed. To my surprise it was Shrio sitting next to me.

"Leave me alone!" I snapped at him. I didn't mean to, I just dont want to even speak right now.

He nodded and got out of my room. In glad it didn't take much convincing.

It's been a year. Keith, the love of my life, died a year ago today. And I was going to do the same.

+Third Person+

Lance had been acting distant from his other friends all day. They knew better not to talk to him though, knowing he could break any second.

It was now midnight, still with no interaction with the others. He got out a pen and paper. He just wanted to get this over with.

He wrote everyone a different one. One to Hunk, Pidge, Shrio, Allura and Coran.

He felt that there was something missing. So he wrote one to Keith, as if he were still there. He left all of them on his desk, making sure they were noticeable. He couldn't believe this is what he was doing. But he only felt it was what had to be done. He couldn't live without Keith anymore.

Besides he wasn't that important. He was just a stand in and wasn't that necessary to the group.

He left his room and walked around the hallways. Looking into each room without a door, remembering amazing memories. In the kitchen with Hunk when they baked together at 3AM since they were both restless.

The next room was the lab. He started to remember when Pidge tried to teach him the basics of coding and him failing miserably. Despite all this they had a great time. 

The next room was Shiro's. The door was closed but he still didn't let the thoughts escape his mind. He remembered coming into his room multiple times for advice or just to talk to him. He loved Shrio as much as he loved his Mom and siblings, he was like the dad he never had.

He looked next to it and saw Keith's door but purposely avoided it.

Then there was the main room. This was where hes had multipile talks with Coran, usually around missing thier families. This was where he first met Allura, he regrets the first thing he said to her was a pick up line. She was much more than just a pretty face.

He walked out and didn't look back. This place held too many memories, yet it would only damage him even more.

He walked amd walked until he finally found what he was looking for. The cliff. The same exact one he saw Keith jump off of. 

He stepped to the edge. As of it was a replay, he said what Keith did.

"It's only a matter of time before I see you again my love." He whispered looking down.

"Our love is god."

Why do I feel like this wasnt sad enough?? Was it?? Idk what emotions are anymore hA
