I stopped a few times to blow my nose, or take an allergy pill. But besides that, it was totally peaceful.

The sound of the water below  kept the inspiration flowing.

"E-e-excuse me." I heard someone speak behind me.

I turned around to see four boys.

I started to stand up and gather my things. "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know this was your hang out spot. I'll just leav-"

"Hey wait you're that chick that saved me from Henry Bowers!" One of them stated.

"Oh hey Richie, right?" He nodded.

"A-are you new here, I've n-never seen y-y-you here?" One asked.

"Uh, yeah. I just moved here a few days ago." I spoke softly.

I sneezed. One of the boys cringed and took a few steps back.

"Bless you." The tallest said.

"Thank you." I spoke pulling out a tissue, then patting down my nose.

"Wait a second, you gotta be the chick that Stan was going on and on about that just moved in next door to him." Richie spoke nudging who I assume to be Stan.

Then Stan's face going majorly red.

"Beep beep Richie." Huh?

"Fuck you." Richie said turning towards him.

That then started a mini argument between the group.

"Gosh, I'll just leave."

I said putting in my backpack.

"Gosh? What are you? Mother Teressa?" Richie spoke.

"You can't leave, you don't even know everyone yet." Stan spoke.

I sat on my hip and waited for them to introduce themselves, which took them a minute before they took a hint.

"I'm B-bill." One said with straight black hair. I reached out and shook his hand.

"I'm Eddie, and I'm not gonna shake your hand, because you just sneezed and I didn't see you put on hand sanitizer." I giggled at his germaphobic character.

"Richie." He said finger gunning towards my direction.
I finger gunned back.

"I'm Stan." He stepped forward and I shook his hand. Maybe for a longer than I should have. He light brown eyes were like a mud hole I could easily fall into, and I almost did before Richie cleared his throat.

"You never introduced yourself." Eddie commented.

"Oh I'm sorry, I'm y/n l/n." I smiled, trying to remember my manners.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful gal." Richie said trying too hard to flirt.
Everyone rolled their eyes.

"Uh, thanks?" I said obviously uncomfortable, "Anyways, I'm really sorry about ruining your 'guy time,' I'll just get going now." I spoke walking towards my bike, picking it up, then walking about four steps before one of them said something.

"Wait, you can just hang out with us." It was Stan. Everyone looked at him like he was crazy.

"Really?" I asked turning around.

"Yeah, totally." He spoke, "It's not like we were gonna run around naked." He smiles then looks at the other guys. They roll their eyes.

Everybody split up and started looking for something to do.

Richie and Eddie found two sticks and started battling with them. Stan and Bill sat near the edge of the cliff and were throwing rocks in the water. I continued to draw the water.

"I l-like y-y-your shirt." Bill said turning around to look at me.

I look down at the shirt I'm wearing. 'Star Wars' what a nerd.

"Thank you!" I spoke cheerfully.

"D-don't ment-tion it." He smiled back at him.

I look back at my drawing, it's total crap. I set it down beside me, and lay down on the dirt.

"That's a nice drawing." Stan spoke, gazing at my drawing.

I sat up.
"You can have it." I reached for my notebook and tore out the page.

"Wait really?" He spoke, red rising to his face.

"Yeah sure." I handed the page to him.

He carefully tore off the sides where the rings held it together. He put in trash in one pocket, then gently folded the paper and put it in his other pocket.

The sun started to set.

"Uh, hey guys. I should be getting home." Eddie spoke frantically, "My mom will bust a nut if I'm not there by dinner time."

"I should get going too." I spoke as I strapped on my bag.

"I'll bike with you there." Stan spoke quickly.

"You will?" I questioned happily.

"Yeah, you do live beside me. It's fine." He said with a smile.

"Then let's go."

We said our goodbyes to everyone, and hopped on our bikes.

"So what do you think of Derry?" He asked.

"Oh, I don't know. Quiet town. It's cute." I stated.

"Cute, huh?" He laughed.

"Well yeah. It's not like it's the greatest place in the world to be." I commented.

"I completely agree."

Our bikes slowed down, and came to a stop when we reached my house.

"Thank you for biking home with me." I smiled at him.

"Don't worry about it." He waved his hand. He started to walk away.

"Hey," He turned around immediately, "do you wanna hang out tomorrow?"

"Yeah totally." He said happily.

"Great, well goodnight." I said as I turned the door handle.

"Goodnight."
