Mal's POV "Should we do a collab with Mikey right away" Cara asked "I say we do" I smirked so I texted Mikey Me-yoo come to the studio😋😉 My popstar🎤💕-okk I'm omw💓 "He's coming" I told the girls and they nodded as we wrote down some bars "I'm here what's up" he asked sitting next to me "Well, we are writing a song called Smoke N Mirrors and we think this is going to be kind of a chill ish song" Aubree explained and he nodded reading the lyrics from my notepad as he wrapped his arms around my waist "I'm liking it so far" he nodded I smiled and kissed his cheek continuing the writing "What else are you writing" Cara asked and I tossed her the notepad "I actually am loving this a little more than I should" Aubree laughed making us chuckle "We'll finish writing and you and Mky can do the arrangement" Cara nicely demanded and we nodded moving into the recording studio part and creating it "I think we should do something like this" Mikey suggested I kept nodding my head to the beat and I was liking it "I like it. But I think maybe it should sound like this" I smirked adding an element to it and Mikey looked at me astonished "Are you like, experienced with this stuff" he asked "Very, my sister is a DJ so she's taught me a few things about arrangements" I explained "Oh that's cool" he nodded smiling at me "So then maybe when it gets to the chorus we could do a little something something and remix it a bit" I laughed "Definitely. I'm very open to ideas, I mean, the first verse, that's yours, I just added something. Just cause I add something, it doesn't make it mine, ok babe" I explained looking at Mikey and he smiled "Ok, I definitely will baby" he grinned and I pecked his lips "Oh yeah. So in 2 days, us girls all go back home to visit our families" I started "Awww don't leave me" Mikey whined "You didn't let me finish. We got back to the house and I changed into some comfy clothes before plopping on my bed

"Heyyy" Mikey smiled plopping down next to me and resting his head in my neck "Hiii" I mocked "Wanna watch something" he asked looking up slightly at me "Sure, grab the blanket right by you" I said as Mikey put the blanket on both of us as I turned on Mean Girls "Alright I will admit, this movie is pretty good" he sighed halfway through the movie making me cheer "Yay" He chuckled at me and I slumped down a little bit as I am a little tired "Go to sleep babe" he whispered stroking my head a bit and that was enough to make me fall asleep
*next day* "Baby lets get up and start coming up with ideas for the video" Mikey whispered as he stroked my hair "K" I yawned and got up trudging over to the closet and grabbing one of Mikey's sweatshirts, yoga pants, and some fuzzy socks while putting my hair up in a bun "Well don't you look adorable" Mikey smiled coming out of the bathroom "And don't you look hot" I smirked at him referring that he's topless with basketball shorts on He chuckled at my comment, threw on a shirt, and we both came downstairs Kaelyn was the only other one up "Morning lovebirds" she chirped "How are you so awake at 7:45" I asked her grumpily "Not a morning person" Kaelyn asked and I shook my head no "that's fair. I just haven't seen you grumpy yet until now" "Yeah during rehearsals and stuff, I filter to be sure to look professional" I explained "Makes sense" she nodded and Mikey hugged me from behind "You can nap when we get home" he whispered "We have to leave for South Carolina tonight though" I told him looking at the table "Oh yeah we do, well sleep on the plane then" he laughed I rolled my eyes but forced a smile anyhow no matter how tired I was "Well, Emma's waiting for us in the office meeting room over there" Maddie said pointing "You guys have a meeting office" Mikey asked in shock "Yeah, we're still discovering more rooms" Emilee responded and I shrugged "Ok girls, what are you thinking" Emma asked "I was thinking doing it in black and white to set the tone of the song and kinda have it where like we look off in the distance sort of thing, you know" I explained "I like that idea, to have it be really chill and stuff, oh yeah" Emma exclaimed "so after you visit your families for 2 weeks, we come back, do the music vid, and release the song" We cheered and we all went to go pack "You excited" I asked Mikey poking his stomach "Yeah I am, what are we doing there anyhow" he chuckled "We are going to my sister's wedding, which is on day 3, we are going to an Atlanta Falcons game, we are going to a South Carolina volleyball game, and I don't know what else" I explained "Sounds like a lot of fun" he smiled putting his arms around my waist "Well we can relax after we're done packing, ok" I reassured him and he pouted I pecked his lips and then continued to pack as he did the same
