We make mistakes based on our personal issues that haunt us
The disturbing thoughts that linger above our heads like dark clouds
It ruins our mentality
It causes us to make mistakes with no thought of it
Not realizing they're mistakes at all
It takes nerve to acknowledge our personal errors
Even with the constant excuse of my haunting past
It doesn't make up for those so called mistakes
But just having that second chance
It might make that haunting past a little less haunting
And a little more tolerable
To have you there
