"You asked, I told you," He shrugged furiously typing on his cell phone.
"Fuck yourself. I'm leaving!" She said and stood up.
"I'd rather fuck your sister," He mocked trying to aggravate her.
Rylen showed him her middle finger and walked away in anger.
"What a jerk! Motherfucking swinehead fucktard bastard!" Rylen muttered to herself as she walked towards the balcony.
"You seem pissed," A familiar deep voice asked. Rylen looked up to see Enrique looking at her with an amused expression.
"I am pissed. If you don't want to get hurt, I suggest you fuck off as well," She plopped down on one of the chairs.
"Well I don't want to fuck off, so you are stuck with me," He said sitting beside her.
"How are you so confident now? You seemed shy at the start of the night," She asked.
"My teammates made me drink something. I guess it was alcohol. It gave me confidence," He shrugged.
He looked pretty fine to her. Then too what did she know about that boy, and how he behaved when he was drunk. She again hoped he wasn't a pervert.
"Okay," She said and looked away. She looked at her dead phone and rolled her eyes. She had no way to ask her father unless she went to find him.
"Why are you so pissed?" Enrique asked.
"My best friend was texting my sister. I asked why he couldn't talk to me because I was bored. He said he was talking about what positions they should try next time. I mean what type of a screwshit crack fuckhead tells that to someone's sister? Pighead!" Rylen complained.
"That's rude. But what's interesting are the colorful words coming out of your mouth. Pretty creative," He snickered.
"Are you insulting me right now?" Rylen glared him. He didn't seem to get affected.
"I can't insult you unless you want to be insulted. It's a matter of mindset," He shrugged.
"How drunk are you?" Rylen asked, amused at his words.
"I don't know what they gave me. I am cool enough to call my Papa and ask him to pick me up. He'll be here soon," He told her.
"You are one interesting person, Alvarez. Drunk, or non-drunk," Rylen laughed.
"And you are a beautiful girl, Rylen. With, or without makeup," He told her making Rylen stop laughing.
Again that word. But this time it did something to her. Something tingly in her body.
"Thanks," She said and looked away. She felt warmth creeping up on her face. What the hell was that?
"Why did you dress up though?" He asked her.
"Coach Rodriguez said I couldn't come in a tux because of the gender equality thing. My Mama bought me this. My sister did the makeup thing. I mean it's not ripped and all, but it's not all bad," She told him.
"I like your ripped jeans more, they are cool. Wait how many siblings do you have?" He asked.
"Two. We are triplets. Reyanna, me and Roman," She answered his question ignoring the compliment she got on her ripped jeans. Again the warmth. What's with the weather?
"Cool! I am the only child. Mama got a miscarriage when she was expecting my sister, and couldn't conceive again. They plan to adopt though," He told her.
"Hey, it's okay," Rylen touched his shoulder. "Having siblings isn't that good," She tried to joke.
"I'll take your word for it," He smiled.
