Another Proxy ( No Longer Updating)

Chapter 3

   I quietly moved around the house, trying to not disturb the sleeping people. Calm snoring came from two of the rooms. I walked into one of the rooms and saw a boy about my age. His soft hair was all ruffled and messy, eyes closed and breath coming out slightly choppy. It looked as if he had been crying. I moved a little closer and saw that he was shirtless, bruises covering his body. Liu was walking by the door when I quietly called him in.

  "The poor kid. Do we kill them all or just the parents?" I asked.

  "We're probably going to have to kill em all. I'm sorry but, no survivors."

  I noded my head and pulled out one of my knives. His head was turned to the side and his neck beautifully exposed. I pulled the knife across his throat, blood squirting from the wound. He quietly died in his sleep, not even waking up. I walked out of the room to check out my surroundings and to see if anyone else was in the house, besides the parents.

  I came back into the room to see a deep cut had become visible. I walked closer and saw that one of his organs was missing.

  "Hey, who the hell stole the kidney?" I whispered.

  "Oh. Jack must of come with us. He really likes kidneys " Toby said.

  "God damn. The kidney's the best part." I whined.

  "Exactly why I took it." a voice said.

  I spun around to see a guy with a blue mask chomping down on the kidney.

  "That was my kidney, you ass."

   "There's still one more. Eat that one."

  "The right one had more flavor in my opinion. You took the right one."

  "I took a kidney. All I do is eat them. So too bad for you." he stuck his tongue out at me.

  Before he was able to pull his tongue back into his mouth, I rushed forward and grabbed it. He tried to pull it back in, but to no avail. I started to laugh and dug my nail into it.

  "Ow. That hurths." he whined.

  "Don't take my kidneys."

   I released his tongue and lifted the boys dead arm. The skin was bruised in certain areas, so I tried my best to eat around them. I felt Jack's glare pierce my back.

  "Listen, mask boy. If your not going to do anything else besides watch me eat, go away."

  Jack released an annoyed hiss and got up from where he was. He passes by me and quickly left the room. I paused before I took another bite of the guy's arm, feeling a guilty knot form in my stomach.

  "You okay? You suddenly stopped eating your arm." Liu asked.

  "Oh. I'm fine." I lied.

  He left the room and let me sit in my guilt. I shook my head and went to take another bite. I tore the flesh from the arm and unhappily chewed. I swallowed, the last bite I had taken had left a bad taste in my mouth.

  "You ready to go?" Liu asked as I walked out to where he had gone.

  I nodded my head. He and I quietly left the house, leaving Jack to take the kidneys.

  "I feel like crap." I told Liu.

  "Why?" his ears had perked up at that.

  "For some reason I feel bad about yelling at Jack for taking one kidney. I mean, its a kidney. I can eat somebody else's kidney if I really wanted to."

"It was your first kill out in the open with people who might of heard sounds. you wanted to be the first to devour your kill, but Jack got to it first. I know the feeling."

  As Liu and I continued our conversation, a guy with a bloody white hoodie and a smile ... that was ... cut there, burst into the room. He looked mad, even with the cut up smile.

  "Which one of you pissed off Jack?" he asked.

  "Jeff, this is Carrie. She's new."

  "Go to sleep." Jeff said, holding up a knife.

"Sorry. I can't. I haven't slept in days, even when I wasn't like this."

  "Jeff." he held out his hand, putting the knife away.

  "Carrie." I grabbed his hand and shook it.

  I could feel his blood rushing through his veins.

"Your blood rushes through you very beautifully Jeff." I smiled.

"Thanks. You got pretty teeth." and he left.

  "And he was..." I asked Liu.

  "Oh. That my brother."

"I see no resemblance."

He shrugged his shoulders. I smiled. My head turned as I heard a light knock come from the door.

  "Come in." Liu said.

  The door slowly opened and in came Toby.

"How was your first outside kill?" he asked.

  "Just peachy." I scowled.

  "Heh. Well, Jack stole one of the kidney from her first victim." Liu chuckled.

  "As expected." Toby shrugged.

"Man. He ticks me off." I said.

  Toby and Liu just chuckled.
