I was gasping for air; my throat was parched dry from the scorching sun.

A hot breeze swept over the sandy landscape, picking up a cloud of sand on the way.

I was lost, hopelessly lost.

I heard a scream of a desperate animal in the far distance.

My hair was matted and stained with my blood.

i placed my hand on the back of my head where I was wounded, I winced in pain and squeezed my eyes shut waiting for the pain to overpower my body and save me from this dead misery I call my life.
