A beautiful day so calm and still
Trees swaying gently in the wind
As i walk, come if you will
We'll notice the magical eerie land
The flowers recently bloomed
But freezing again in the rainy gloom
The day quite perfect for a soul like mine
Not natural although for its summer time
The trees once had so much light
Now the clouds are here giving such fright
Notice the air not dry nor wet
But gloomy somehow, chilling yet
"Hows the weather?" people ask
"Quite perfect," i say, "but you'll need a jacket"
You must realize by now,
Im not talking about weather
But the cold in my mind
The chill to my touch
But people will see
Its perfect for Me
I am not warm
My trees are not lively
My flowers have bloomed
But are dying
Soon ill be a barren wasteland
Full of memories
But rid from life
For now, its a beautiful day.
