Frank's P.O.V:

Staring out the window can only do so much when your driving down a highway of nothingness in a cooped up moving van. It was already shaping up to be a long morning. I could feel the ache in my chest as I remembered our house in Columbus.
It still pissed me off that after everything that happened to us in New Jersey we're still moving back.
Somewhere in between my mom talking about how the move will be a nice change and me falling asleep we had arrived at our final destination. It was definitely an upgrade from the old apartment, which included 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, and a rat infestation. However, this was by no means a mansion, it just felt cleaner.

Once the van halted to a stop I jumped out and ran to claim a room. My younger siblings may look cute but they were fucking spoiled brats. They got what ever they wanted when they were little which turned them into frickin spazzes.
Before I could even touch the door my mother yelled out "Frank get back here and help your father with the boxes!"
"He's not my dad!" I retorted because Dave was in fact only my step-father. And I thought it was ridiculous that I should call him by such a coveted title. I then tried to inch closer to the door. But was stopped by my mother...
"Get your ass back here before I decide you can't get a dog!" My mother smartly threatened... Damn she's good.
I trudged back to the enormous van with about as much enthusiasm as a funeral.
"Christina and MacKenzie go pick out your rooms!" My mother yelled to the twins as they gleefully ran in the house.
Well ain't that fucking fantastic, I thought to myself.
After I helped unload the big furniture I was informed that my room was in the basement, so I decided to go check it out.
When I walked down the stairs I instantly noticed a window along the back wall I could probably fit through.
"That'll come in handy later," I murmured to myself.
I continued to explore the lower level and noticed a  door that led to a bathroom in the corner.
"Fuck yea! I finally get my own bathroom." I said excitedly. It has always been a dream of mine to have a private bathroom.
I made a mental note of where I wanted all my furniture and ran up to get Dave to help me set it up.
By dinner time I was so exhausted that when the twins ran down the steps to tell me it was time to eat I almost didn't go. But the slight whisper Mack said about pizza caught my dreary ears and I found a new bit of energy because well... it was fucking pizza.
At dinner, I was informed that I would be attending my final school year at some Catholic school the next town over. "Fan-fucking-tastic," I thought to myself as all the awful scenarios of the new school played in my head. I guess I would just deal with that battle on Monday.
