Chapter six

3rd P.O.V.

Faye sat on the couch, slightly dozing. Her head was just about to fall forward when two girls, both dressed in the ridiculous school uniforms, approached her from behind. The taller of the two tapped on Faye's shoulder gently. Faye's head snapped up and she looked around confusedly.

"Sorry, sorry didn't mean to scare you we were just wondering if we could sit next to you while we wait for our turn."

Faye looked up at the tall girl who had spoken with wide eyes. She had always been the type to have to take a moment to digest what was happening around her when she woke up.

"No, it's okay." Faye mumbled while rubbing the sleep from her tired eyes.

Man, that plane ride really must have got to me.

The two girls sat down giving Faye polite smiles as they did. They sat there for a few minutes in an awkward silence. They watched everyone else in the room, Faye still not understanding what kind of club this was.

"So," the smaller girl with the unnatural red hair said, " who are you waiting for?"

Faye was confused on how they knew she was waiting for someone, but then thought that she probably just had that look. She'd always been told she was like an open book.

"My cousin, Haruhi, she's in the club. I just moved here from the U.S. With my brother to live with her." She gestured toward the sleeping Mason laying in her lap.

The two girls both gave each other a confused look.

The taller one, who Faye now noticed had a very nice complexion, started talking, "I'm sorry, but did you just say 'she'?"

Before Faye could answer, a large presence appeared behind her.

"I see you two have met Haruhis dear cousin, Faye. I couldn't help but over hear the conversation and I have to make clear that since Faye has only just learned Japanese she might still get a word or two wrong. I'm sorry for any misunderstandings."

Faye had looked up to see a man dressed in the school uniform with dark hair and glasses. Even though his face looked relaxed and cheerful, Faye could sense the danger hiding underneath.

When Faye looked back over at the two girls she was shocked to see them both leaning on each other and swooning over this person like he was the last man on earth.

"No, it's okay Kyoya Sempai we thought that that's what had happened. I mean Haruhi as a girl? Who would believe that?"

This "Kyoya" guy just gave a light smile and nodded, thanking the girls for understanding. He then turned his attention to Faye, tilting his head to tell her to follow him. Faye, who was getting more and more confused by the second, gently lifted Masons head and slid off the couch. She made sure he wasn't going to roll off the couch before walking in the direction Kyoya had gone.

She ended up in the back of the room where there weren't as many people. Kyoya was waiting for her and he just stood there for a little longer even after she had reached him.

He began to speak.

"I understand that Haruhi hasn't told you much yet and I will let her explain it all to you later, but for now I want you to just sit and wait for that time to come. We have an arrangement in place and we wouldn't want anything to happen to that. So please, until this club session is over, don't talk to anyone else."

Faye stood there, stunned. She could feel her mouth hanging slightly agape as Kyoya brushed past her towards a table with waiting ladies.

She walked back to her couch, the two girls gone now, and sat down at the end where her brothers feet didn't reach. She rested her head on her hand and closed her eyes. Was she confused about what was going on? Yes. But she was also really tired and after a few minutes of relaxing she drifted off into a heavy sleep.

Hey guys I know that I haven't been updating, but I final sat down and wrote this real quick. I know it's mostly just a filler chapter but I promise that there will be more coming within the next couple weeks or so. I just got really caught up in the new school year so please be patient.
