Hey, this is a new book and can get very deep, but before we get started I just wanna thank my 8th grade English teacher for helping me realize the beauty and importance that is poetry.
Reading, books, phones, apps.
What can I do to make life more than that?
Empty words, watery eyes.
What can I do to save my friends lives?
Mistaken words, angry glares.
What can I do to show them I care?
Show me how to speak to you,
And that's exactly what I'll do.
Honestly I wish I was ten.
Then I'd know how to feel home again.
