In science class today, our teacher decided to give us a little break from learning safety measures in the lab to set stuff on fire. Guess what she decided to set aflame? If you guessed hair, you probably read the title of this chapter. Two people volunteered their locks for the experiment: a guy with short, frizzy curls, and a girl with longer, straighter hair.
Our teacher took the hairs, set them on a lab bench, lit a candle, and used a pair of tongs to set the hair aflame. It was so cool to watch, but the classroom stunk really badly afterwards. It's a good thing the teacher put on the fan, otherwise we might've had to finish class in the hall thanks to the stench.
Have I mentioned before that my science teacher is awesome?
