IN THE DAWN HOURS BEFORE SIX AM.

Michael, Jackie and Marlon were hurrying up the mountain

towards Big Falls Trails. They had to get there quick. The

police they knew would be out soon looking for the children

who were not inflicted with Lycanthropy. This would or could

mean trouble for their children. Michelle's parents joined them

half way up from another trail. "I think they are up there at

that Big Falls Trails. I heard someone in town talk about it

before that the kids like to hike up to the summit there and

then swim in the water hole and play in the waterfall there."

"Stephen are you sure that's where they are?" "I think so.

Michelle told me." "Michelle told you?" Jackie asked. "Well,

yeah. sometimes, I can see her thoughts when there is danger

around." "Oh. Then we must get to them fast. I fear something

isn't right and it could be death to us all if we don't find

them fast and get them all home to where they belong and...

do it NOW!" Michael and Marlon both state with urgency in

their voices and movements.

The teens were waking up cold and hungry. A couple were acting

as if they were getting sick as the Jacksons and the Parkards

arrived. "Mitchell! Girls! Thank god!" "H..How did you find

us?" Michelle's parents said. "Michelle told us. We told her

to stay home and we'd come for all of you. Come on we have to

get off the mountain. A snow storm is coming. And your parents

will be freaked out if you aren't home soon. I think the police

are already out looking for you." "Oh no! My dad's gonna have

a major coronary!" Stacy excitedly adds. The teens hurry and

dress. Explaining what happend as they did and they all hurry

down the mountain with the Jacksons and the Packards.

By the time they did get down the mountain, the sun was up

and it was a quarter passed nine in the morning. The town

was a buzz with sirens and people running everywhere. Michael

looks at Stephen Packard. They frown but deep down they both

have a horrible, dredding feeling. "Hey! What's going on?"

Marlon stopped one of the men running. "Haven't you heard?"

"Heard what?" Clarissa Parkard asks. "There were nine murders

in town and sixteen wild animal attacks in the surrounding

hills and parks. Animals mauled everywhere! It's very strange.

The sheriff has put a dusk curfew on the town until he gets

to the bottom of it!" "Thanks!" Michael said shocked and

then looks at the others. He was so sad. The animals he knew

had to be his children. But the murders. They were the worry.

They were what could cost them their lives. Stephen and Clarissa

knew they had to act fast of the Jacksons would be under sus-

picion they believed because of the rapid growth of their

children and the fact that they stay to themselves and are

never seen at night at all until the last few days. That is

not a good sign. The new arrivals too could be under suspicion

but they only feared for the Jacksons at this point. They

tried to speak with the Gardners but were told to go away and

that they had no need for protection because they could take

care of themselves and never had been discovered ever before.

This town, is no different. It's a perfect feeding ground and

that was that.

The teens got home safely. Their families were relieved. Everyone

stayed quiet to themselves the rest of the weekend for fear of

calling attention to themselves and risking more trouble and

maybe death. The Packards stayed with the Jacksons trying to

work out a plan to help them. Renee stayed with Mitchell at the

Jackson home.

Michelle pulled Mitchell aside. She had started to feel the labor

pains. The babies were coming early but she had to know. "Mitchell?

Honey? Are you and Renee together?" "Yes mom. I love her. We have

mated several times." "oh no! It's...It's too soon! You put her

in danger! All of us in danger!" "But..." "MICHAEL!! HONEY!! PLEASE!!"

Michael raced to Michelle. "Honey. Mitchell and Renee have...um...

they have...." "Mated?" He said in low tones. Clarissa came forward

and whispered softly. "With Michelle too haven't you?" Mitchell looks

down. "Yes. I love Michelle. She's my...." Looking at Renee. "Our

best friend and....we...we wanted to do it once but..Renee is my

soul mate. She's a...she has Lycanthropy too. Just she don't change

like us." "But if you made them with child. We all could be in danger."

"Son you should have thought before you acted." Clarissa puts her

hand on Renee's stomach. Her eyes widen. No words need be spoken.

They all know that Renee is with child. Mitchell's child. Michelle

arrived at the house. "Mother...." Clarissa turns to her daughter.

"You're with child." "I...I..." Mitchell looks at Michelle. Tears

begin to fall. "I....I'm sorry. I...I didn't know. I...I mean. I

didn't think...." Mitchell looks at Renee. "I love you. I'm sorry.

I didn't mean to make you or Michelle pregnant." Renee had tears

in her eyes. "I know. I love you. It's okay. I...you are my choosen

one." Their parents looked at the three teens. They understood

that they had to be careful. They also saw in their teens that

there was a deep love for each other. Mitchell was nuzzling with

Renee and Michelle. He kissed Renee lovingly and held Michelle like

she was a very important part of their lives.
