(Art is not mine)
Y/N pov
"But mom, I don't want to go to this camp." I told my mom, for about the hundredth time.
"Why not? I think it will give you a chance to meet new friends." My mom said.
"But I'm happy at home, I don't want to leave for the summer." I said, following her, as she walked into the kitchen.
"Please, sweetie, we already payed and it clearly said on the pamphlet "no refunds"." My mom pleaded, turning to me, as my dog D/N (dogs name) trotted up, and I patted his/her head and smiled at him/her.
"What about S/N (siblings name), he/she doesn't have to go anywhere." I told her.
"Yes but your brother/sister has a job, something that preoccupies them during the summer." She said. I chewed on my lip slightly, thinking.
"Alright." I sighed, my mothers face broke out with a huge smile. As I frowned slightly. She engulfed me in a big hug, as I squirmed around.
"Let go, mum." I muttered, pushing her away, and heading to my room to pack, D/N filling beside me, wondering what was going on. I got to my room, and pulled out my suitcase, it's was F/C (favourite colour) and had F/D (favourite design) on it. I sighed once again, and started packing my clothes.
Max's pov
I was standing at the entrance of camp Campbell, god I hate this fucking place, I stood next to David, I hate him even more than I hate the camp.
"Can you believe it, max? We're getting not one, not two, not four, but three new campers today!" David said enthusiastically, jumping up, and holding four fingers in the air, as I rolled my eyes.
"Yup. It's really, truly horrifying." I said, with a blunt tone, and monotone face, my hands in my pockets, as I stared forward, wondering how this day could get any worse.
"Horrifying? What, are you afraid of making a few new friends?" David said, crouching to my eye level, and ruffling my hair. Oh, how badly I wanted to punch his stupid fucking face, right, fucking now.
"I'm not here to make friends, David. I'm here because camp is where kids are sent, when their parents don't want to deal with them." I stated, glaring at David and turning slightly to him.
"Why do you think we return the favour, when they hit 70?" I asked, rhetoricaly.
"Hang on a sec, what are you even doing here?" David asked, pointing at me.
"Well, it's definitely not because the bus only comes in from the city to drop off and pick up campers, and so far seems to be my only reasonable method of escaping this fucking nightmare of a camp." I said, shrugging and looking up at the sky, raising an eyebrow, then looking forward and glaring at nothing.
"Definitely not that." I said, sarcastically, looking at David and shrugging.
"Heeeeyy..... Language." David said, pointing at me, again, and glaring at me.
"suck a dick-" I got cut off, when David picked me up. I looked into his eyes, glaring, as he said,
"All I want is for you kids to have as much fun as I did, when I was a camp Campbell camper."
"Is that really to much to ask?" He asked.
"I refuse to believe someone as happy as you can possibly exist." I said, balling my fists, and glaring harder; David dropped me, as I heard a car horn.
