14 years since I was last free, on that day they took me from my home, my family, my friends and shoved me in this dark, claustrophobic cage. Its empty, a stone floor with wooden walls and a small stick that I'm chained to in the middle of the area. The food is old and dry, the water a grey musky colour with spider webs covering every corner.
The only source of light is the sun that is limited by the rusty bars that hold me back from freedom.
Im a hybrid, an owl hybrid to be exact, my name is Evan.
When i was younger i got attacked by another owl while in my owl form and i was found and taken to be 'healed'. I am healed and i have been for 14 years, waiting for the day i can leave.
Obviously if i could i would change into my human form and escape but its not that easy, i wish it was. I can wait for a few more years.
